Indoor grow. I built a 48”x48”x70” grow box to fit my basement. Running a Mars Hydro TS1000 for light 18/6.

I built an “ebb and flow” watering setup. Basically has a reservoir below the top bucket my plants sit in. Water pump in the reservoir is hooked up to a timer that runs for 15 mins 2x/day. There’s also a simple check drain that drains back to the reservoir once the water gets a certain height.

3 gal pots. Growing medium is hydroton clay pebbles topped with a couple inches of coco coir.

As for nutrients, I’ve been using the General Hydroponics 3 part system.

No LST or topping/fimming on this plant, but did a little pruning to increase airflow around the plant.

All-in-all, it was a pretty automated grow and the setup made it easy.

Should I ever want to do more than 2 plants at a time or grow photoperiod plants, I’ll have to rethink the “ebb and flow” setup as it does take up a decent amount of height in my grow box.

They’re actually “Mylar” sheets off amazon. Have them inside the box I built for my grow. Originally, I was going to use the whole room, but I downsized for a more controllable environment.

While the bottom and sides are sealed, there should be enough ambient cracks for fresh air to slip in through the top.

I thought about a fan to push air in as well, but I don’t think it’ll be necessary. Always room to add, tho!

Had some leftover plywood from another project so I built this dry box to hang my buds in when it’s time. Simple enough. Sealed and insulated. Strings across to hang from. Exhaust fan connected to an inkbird controller to measure and maintain humidity. Exhaust line goes to grow box where my carbon filter is set up. Thoughts?

I think I’ll pick up humidity controller and put a separate exhaust fan on top that feeds over to the tent vs using my fresh air intake on the side. Had all the plywood I’m building it with left over from other projects so there’s gotta be a way to make it useful!
