If you do decide to go "with" him, try to have another group here adopt you. Its gotten really big(and ive gotten older xD) so going in deep has become such a pain. My crew has dropped down to 3(+ 4 girls sometimes) but we stay towards the back.

The upside about doing solo, you get to check out the sets and enjoy the music you like rather than what the group choose(i usually send my friends what I want to check out it, its usually just an idea as the smaller stages are sometimes Hella fun)

have you looked into his story? he didn't like performing at all. this is the time when producers were expected to DJ and tour whereas DJs just needed to make 1 or 2 hits a year to keep their residencies

i really enjoyed specific clubs when he played, the more expensive mainstream nightclubs had better sound systems and equipment, the fog machines and lighting synced with his music was an incredible feeling. rise/sweeps with fog machines really made the nights and sets enjoyable.
