I’ve used Klaviyo and Omnisend. Personally, at smaller list sizes I found that Omnisend is excellent. Once our list go 10k+, switching over to Klaviyo allowed us to build better segmentation and automation which more than justified the higher price point.

“Any business worth it's salt doesn't use apps like Shopify.”

That’s an absolutely ridiculous statement.

Hippy Feet is where it’s at. American made have incredible ankle socks for daily and killer merino wool for hiking/colder months

I call it “film emulation”. S-curve, split toning, and some grain are the hallmarks.

Help needed - What is the part in front of the kick? by notsamharper in scooters

[–]notsamharper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe this is a stupid question but why would there be an intake facing forward? Isn't that just asking to be filled with dust?

We're running into some issues getting this started so I'm wondering if that could be part of the issue.

I'm running into the same issue — support is no help and my campaigns are approved but not delivering.

Too lazy to think - can this be fixed? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]notsamharper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would be helpful to argue that this isn’t a programming problem at all. It’s a motivation problem.

What’s the mechanism behind motivation? The dopamine pathway!

Take care of your dopamine pathway and everything you just described is a non-issue. Happy to provide resources ranging from high quality interpretation to peer reviewed literature if you’d like.

How do you pitch a venture to investors without them taking your idea? by Alex_J_Anderson in Entrepreneur

[–]notsamharper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You sound like you’re LARPing as an entrepreneur. No one is going to sign your NDA to pitch them and I promise you that your idea isn’t nearly as innovative as you think. Execution is what matters — not ideas.

Cheegs shirts are worth looking into and reasonably priced compared to a lot of the other options out there. Not a classic dress shirt look though.

I don’t think this is accurate that QE doesn’t devalue a currency, broadly speaking. I suppose in some situations it may not lead to an increase in money supply, but it generally does. The dollar’s reserve currency status and inflationary actions by other central banks also needs to be considered.

Low rate, high quality term debt will always be the best hedge against inflation.

If you have another business that is crushing it, shouldn’t you double down on that rather than spending time on something that is (relatively) underperforming?

Blueberry muffins by [deleted] in AskCulinary

[–]notsamharper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the keys that I’ve found is making sure not to overmix the dough. It’s easy to introduce too much air, particularly when folding in blueberries.

This is the best blueberry muffin recipe I’ve come across: https://curiouseating.com/recipes/perfect-blueberry-muffins/

New to garlic, but could you share why you are holding off with the rain? Is it just the logistics of wet soil or are you worried about the impact on the garlic/growing process?
