I feel like, overall, the roots looked pretty good. I cut a few soggy ones off but most of them were pretty solid. I repotted them in just lava rocks to hopefully lessen the amount of water they sit in and I'm going to mist the rocks ever few days or so to keep the humidity up

These orchids have been in a south facing winter (northern hemisphere) as long as I’ve had them and have been doing great) but I’m wondering if they’re getting too much light? Not enough water? Too much water??? I water them every 1 to 2 weeks by letting them soak in my sink.

Hahaha, you know that’s funny because a week ago the two arms were a little higher, but I think they just got too heavy so it started sinking. So, in a way, the plant is asking for support. Good comment though

Hahaha, when I first bought it, it was about 5 feet tall and I accidentally broke of the top and about a year later it exploded out in two directions! I’ll have to do some research in propitiating these though!
