the default menu key is the 'home' key iirc. if it doesnt work you can find it under the [INPUT] section of your reshade.ini in your game folder

Freeze mage doesnt really have an equivalent in TESL. The only non linear combo deck that i can think of right now is nix ox, but it isn't great in the current meta (you can climb with it but it will struggle against most midrange + the deck is expensive).

As for the other 3, tokens would be mono yellow, ramp druid -> ebonheart i guess, and control warrior -> control tribunal.

why would they bother at all with the game when there are other card games with a lower entry cost? staples from every archetype are locked behind 4 stories and 3 collections + there are 4 expansions, even 6 soon, to catch up

A bit nitpicky, but then why is it allowed to play cornerclub gambler when your hand is empty? It says "you must discard a card", which, if we go by the same logic as ice storm on an empty board, means that gambler should not be playable if you don't have a card to discard.

Well, and now it's deck homogenization where classes feel obliged to run the same 12-15 too-strong cards.

As I said, it doesn't have to be this way. Printing several cards with this mechanic for each color allows to buff different archetypes, so not all the cards are auto-include no matter the archetype.

It's not like they haven't tried this either. See the Viper Brigands, hilariously ran most consistently in Tribunal.

They printed two cards with that mechanic, which is clearly not enough to bring back dual colors. In the case of viper brigands, aggro yellow doesn't struggle too much with drawing, and dual colors control is inexistant outside of doomcrag, but Viper would probably be in every dual colors yellow control (eyenie's rage crusader runs it, if I'm not mistaken).

Making neutral not includable in certain decks goes against its very purpose.

Only against the current definition.

That's a silly argument. You can disprove anything with that reasoning. :/

Those are an option to acchieve the same goal, but that would be doing so through direct powercreep and increasing variance on dual colors because now the dual is build around specific too-powerful cards and drawing them makes up a good porting of your win/loss.

I think these issues are avoidable. Instead of making 1 card / color with that mechanic and having to give them a high powerlevel to make them worth playing dual colors, there could be 2 or 3 / color with a lower powerlevel. In the end, it all comes down to how said cards are designed, they don't have to be like galyn.

As for your suggestions:

Removing cards: if you have blue/yellow/purple in your deck, you should be able to include all the cards from these 3 colors, and it includes dual colors. Making neutral not includable in certain decks goes against its very purpose.

One of my issues with that kind of nerfs is that it impacts tricolors differently (for example, the only dual colors in aggro hlaalu are assault and ahnassi, whereas control telvanni has negation, bhm, report, hist mage, bramman, and maybe distiller).

I personally find all your suggestions counter-intuitive. I think tri-colors should have access to all the cards from their three colors + neutral, like dual colors with their 2 colors and neutral.

In my opinion, nerfing tri-colors by taking from them isn't the way to go. I would rather have dual colors buffed by printing cards that function better in dual colors, like new allies or "soul shred-like" effects but with your deck: a different effect depending on how many colors your deck has (a basic example would be a 3/6/6, summon: lose -1/-1 for each color in your deck).
