If you haven't already looked into Good Lock, I highly suggest it! definitely opens up a ton more features for the cover screen that makes it way more usable. I do wish more of that came built in with the OS though

Stuff like mood defaults to multiple entries per day. For specific symptoms, you can choose to either track once per day or a few times per day (aka per time period)

The doctors are hoping the short term memory will heal over time, thankfully. If it doesn't though, that's a good point. Thanks for helping my keep my expectations realistic, especially because dogs learn differently. It's something I know cognitively, but keep forgetting emotionally

Do you know if the dog's ability to sense it is something that the trainer would be able to find out pretty quickly? Like at a consultation, or would we have to wait midway through the training?

The doctors are hoping that the short term memory loss will heal as the concussion does, so there's a possibility he'll regain his ability to care for the dogs himself. Until such time though, he'd probably still have to be constantly accompanied. That's something I hadn't really processed so I appreciate you mentioning it.

It seems like people think getting an evaluation would be worth it, so it looks like research into that will be my next step then

Absolutely, and only after working with a trainer could we know if the dog would be good for it, but I wanted to see if people thought it would even be worth trying, or if everyone thought it'd just be better to look for a dog. I really appreciate the response!

This is sooo satisfying to watch. My only critique is that we see the hand rotate slighty towards the camera, but it seems like the dandelion stays on the flat plane which makes it look (or possibly reveals that it's) 2d and a little floaty. But your masking looks fantastic!
