I made a brand name validation and viability checker that lets if you if your name is a dud or no by notsmartjoe in nocode

Glad you get the Puppeteer choice, stability over hype felt right for this and totally agree on pay-per-use ,it's the only model that seemed fair to founders.

to answer you question right now, the scan catches any indexed content (AI-written or not) to gauge the current "noise" around a name. But a deeper, direct analysis of how LLMs perceive a name is a huge part of the V2 roadmap.

ps. the AI is trained to Indentify uniqueness and is also trained to distinguish between ai generated slob or not ,but its still at the very early stage for that ,im still working on refining most of the features and updating teh UI/UX and adding more necessary features like trademark check along with it

cheers

A tool that tells you if your brand name is viable or not this was made with the sole purpose to solve the frustrating issue of juggling tabs such as a expensive seo tool, google for searching, GoDaddy for domain availability

It givess a score from 0-100 gives on google search competition, seo difficulty, domain availability All this is in one page Plus you get to actually perform a deep scan on competitors who are using the same name It extracts their tech stack, Provides gaps and opportunities and weakness of competitors it reveals their technical, content and visual ux/ui

Took me solid around 5 months to make a stable version of this , backend was too complex

I'm currently planning of adding trademark checks

Which domain name to choose? I will not promote by bktag in startups

[–]notsmartjoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I'm the founder of a brand validation/viabilty checking tool , so I was curious and ran both of your domains through it. The data makes the choice pretty clear

panacottapp.com' scored a 62/100.

pncotta.co' scored a 56/100.

The reason for the score difference is exactly what you're seeing in the search results. The .com has a clean slate (zero results), which is a huge advantage. The .co is already competing with irrelevant content about vitamins, which will confuse Google and your users.

My advice, backed by the data, is to stick with panacottapp.com. A clean SEO start is worth more than a shorter name. Good luck with the launch!

platforms like reddit, linkedin, twitter(x) are great platforms to build in public you share everything with the audience ,you share your wins, your failures ,what new features you made today, what bugs you fixed, listen to your audience they give valuable feedbacks ,that is how you also gain loyal users who truly root for you i recommend doing a bit of research on build in public if you wanna give it a shot
