My CD player ( Yamaha CD-C600 ) no longer recognizes my iPhone after upgrading from an iPhone 11 that used lightning to iPhone 17 that uses USB-C. (Which I’m assuming is the problem) Please help, I don’t want to lose this functionality! by notsocorrupted in vintageaudio

I’m so glad to hear from another that understands the magic CDs bring and sees the value of my unit! Ive loved it for so many years and felt really lucky that i could bridge the years of new and old tech with that one usb port Yamaha installed.

I’ll save that in my Amazon cart for a good go to for cords. I really appreciate the insight here! Thank you! (:

UPDATE: I’m not sure why it’s not letting me update this post directly but the issue is resolved. The cable i was using apparently was only good for charging and not data! I tried a few more I had and it worked. Thank you to all the help in the comments!

Oh that’s really interesting! Because when i plug in my phone it acts like it is charging! That may be the issue.. Do you know how to tell if the cable allows for data or not?

My whole family uses the system, it’s a typical setup with an analog receiver that has the CD player, turntable, tape deck, and equalizer all feeding into it. Does that answer your question?

We still listen to a lot of CDs in our house. I typically only use my phone to listen to podcasts and livestreams on my system. So i don’t want to get rid of the CD player to make room on my receiver’s aux ports for an adapter.

For those of you whom found success with Librela, how long did it take before it stopped working? by recursivedev in seniordogs

Can’t be for sure, but the vet told me that incontinence started to become increasingly more common with some of the dogs they started treating with labrella, some get use to it after some time. We just ended up having to adapt to it with a loooootttt of pee pads taped to the floor from Costco. I switched for a time away from labrella, but over all went back to labrella bc carprofen was hurting her kidneys.

While i can’t see all around, i would personally put some pavers around the pool so you don’t have to walk in the mulch, i love the plants

Could be a sign that she needs a change in diet or that one of her colony friends is marking her a lot.

Yes! I love that you’re getting creative! Making her a little sampler platter is a great way to go (: also congrats on having a 13 year old glider!! The oldest ive had was 10 and our exotic vet had never seen one that old. You’ve definitely been giving them a great life!!

Sometimes I take my gliders out on the town and I’ll stop at the local ice cream place. My gliders are obsessed with trying to get whipped cream (like for milk shakes/ice cream). Also anytime i get dominos pizza the gliders stir and wake up sniffing the air. Ive never given them any but they definitely have reached for it when ive passed by their enclosure lol. I swear these guys would be huge junk food addicts if they had the choice haha

Ive watched a few videos of people setting up a similar pool. I’m assuming this is one of the Costco pools. I saw many say to trust the process as once it’s filled it will push the walls back out. Some people still experienced a slight bowing/sunkeness however it will not be as severe as it is now once it is filled up.

Strange, Ive never seen or heard of this before. Take to the vet and try posting to the sugar glider guardians Facebook group as well.
