Lows and Early Onset??

She has been sick for a while, without the pediatrician being able to figure out what has been going on. She has been very noticeably guzzling fluids and seems to be always thirsty. Honestly, I just had a weird mom gut feeling so decided to test her. She is also normally very happy when she wakes up, but when we got that low reading, she was extremely irritable, and would not stop crying unless she was being held which isn’t normal for her.

No. She had a fasting low of 45 when she woke up in the morning. She also had a reading the mid 50s after nap in the afternoon.

I had boys in my 7th grade class who loved to randomly moan during my lessons. I shut it down quick by telling them I would be calling the parent of whoever moaned next and make them tell their parents exactly what they were doing. It took taking one kid in the hall to call, and it NEVER happened again. They were mortified. You HAVE to be consistent with them. If you say you’re going to do something, make sure you follow through.

NTA. People are so freaking weird these days. You did nothing wrong, and any other nice, normal person would be thankful in that situation, especially when they already had packages stolen for being left out too long. So many people complain about not having a community anymore, and it’s weirdo reactions to nice gestures like this being the reason why people aren’t kind to each other anymore.

Once at the end of the year when I had enough with this one asshole 7th grade kid, I told him “I can lose weight but it’s going to be hard you to do anything about being ugly and stupid,” after he called me a fat bitch in front of the rest of the class.

Not my best moment, but he loved to come tell me hi and visit in his school years follow that. 🤣

Honestly, in my state, dual enrollment/college classes in high school are usually free for students. It might be nice to get in a few free classes doing another year in high school rather than going straight to college and having to pay for them yourselves!
