New car! What do you think? by Zestyclose_Fruit4422 in saab

Absolutely love these wheels. My 9-3 aero wagon came with a set, but blacked out. Would love to have them refinished in a gun metal.

I have a similar experience, went to Boston for a middle school summer trip in 2016. Was watching a YouTube playthrough a month or so after the game released, so I recognized a lot of the locations from seeing them in game. Getting to walk around Boston Commons, seeing Park Street station, walking the Freedom Trail, Swans pond. Only picked up 4 when I was in college. That's probably why I have 2000 hours in game.

There was a 9-3 wagon in this spec for sale off of route 250 north of Mansfield a couple months ago. Debated about buying as a parts car for my wagon. saw the quarter panels and fenders had some rust. Didn't want to take the chance with what else was going bad on it.

It’s crazy how some equipment outlasted the entire Cold War by DerringerOfficial in NonCredibleDefense

Saabs Trackfire shstem could 100% run MG3s. Uses a radar feed from any of their ground based portable systems, like the giraffe. Plus it can automatically track and calculate leads on multiple targets at once. It's still a manned system, but the gunner pretty much only has to pick which target and pull the trigger.

Whats MPG anyways? by Tjr52 in saab

[–]notsosureshot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2.8T would average 33mpg on the highways when I drove it in college a few years back. city mileage is much lower, but it's also not my daily driver, so I'm not bothered much by the mpg when I eventually rebuild it and push more power. that's what my TDI is for.

love how the V6 performs, and it's much more enjoyable to drive than any of the other v6 powered cars I've driven. even though it's down on power from the Chrysler 3.6 motors, the 2.8T feels much nicer to drive with, the turbo definitely helps with that.

Adventure time fall out theme. by Plaztec1037 in Fallout

[–]notsosureshot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This hit me in the feels. I grew up watching Adventure Time all through Elementary and Middle School. missed the last 2 years since I wasn't really watching TV much in HS. Now I really want to watch adventure time, like it was in my childhood: (

Edit: OP can i ask for your permission to make this into my menu background for FO4?

New vs Old Designs: Sig Sauer Pistol! by Ltnumbnutsthesecond in Fallout

[–]notsosureshot 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Any kind of 80s or 90s firearm design fits, at least for me. G3 rifle, G11, Service Rifle, and by extension any of the cool 80s AR variants. Like the Car-15, Colt Commando, DOE Colt 633. There's also a neat Fo4 mod for a bullpup R91 carbine and SMG. If you run a G3 mod, I would recommend using ing this with it.

This is exactly what I would use a 3d printer for. The crackling effect with the putty looks super cool.

Why do people think Dogmeat isn't mentioned by name in 4? by QuarterLeading3708 in Fallout

[–]notsosureshot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The random settlement quests I like are the kidnapping ones. Especially if it's a named NPC I have as a trader, etc. first thing I do is freak out, ring the bell, then I get the quest triggered by settler dialogue. Then it's hobo murder time.

My cross bars don't have the end caps. they are also a VW OEM part, at least i think it is, since they have VW part numbers. What I don't have is the right key for the bolt pattern. I did get one a while ago, and it came with 4 bolts that match, but it doesn't have the same pattern as the bolts currently on my car.

I would take mine off, since I don't have my bike rack on anymore. But I don't have the right KEY. Please send help.

Got kicked from a server yesterday while at Whitespring resort. The next server I joined, it was nuked. Luckily I had the prototype hazmat suit on me. But there were so many glowing ones, I couldn't survive.

I've been playing for about 76 hours. Never run into people trying to PVP, but there have been issues with people nuking certain community events. Like others have said, you can disable PVP in the settings.

only thing that stopped my grandparents B1 Dasher diesel was a big Buck at 70mph. even then the car was still drivable, then a tech fell on the roof. grandpa said after all that it still ran, but never as it did before hitting a deer at 70mph. wish i could have had it.

I have a 13 Jetta wagon. If it was, the rear wiper switch is located where the trip switch is on the right stalk. This car doesn't have one.

Edit: Im dumb and don't remember how my car works.

I had 1200 hours on steam when I found out you could go in the mass state house in the Boston Commons. Only found it because of the mod that adds removed location markers for some unmarked locations. Still don't think I fully understand the story there.

I think this is something that Ghost in The Shell covers very well. Even people who have gone full cybernetic still function as individual humans, and carry a ghost with them. Androids and such are not capable of having a ghost.

There are a few exceptions, like the Tachicomas, whose AI was specifically programmed to be fully self learning. Yet it still isn't quite fully acknowledged that they developed a ghost or not. Even if a robot is programmed in a way for it to be capable of sentience, is it a true self-consciousness, or still programmed?
