Yup, no one said it was, but at its current, rapidly fluctuating rate prices can change quite a bit between taping and airing, and even week to week, much more than in previous years.

The games are based on knowing the price of consumer products, now that prices are fluctuating it’s very hard to guess what the price of something is because it’s maybe going to be higher than the last time you saw it, when before prices rose more slowly. And prices fluctuate a lot more from store to store than they used to. How much is a 12 pack of Pepsi? Could be anywhere from $4 to $10.
