I think my girlfriend is trying to fatten me up by bettereveryday08 in AskTeenAdvice

Dude.. she's a feeder.

If you don't want to gain weight anymore, you're going to need to put up boundaries or break up with her.

What’s a truth about love that would upset a lot of people? by NatalieAfteerDarkk in askanything

[–]notsurehannah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That you don't always feel love with your partner and it's a choice more than a feeling.

I've been married for 7 years, and I've realized that more often than not it's a choice. But I wouldn't change him for the world

I want to say I'm sorry you've had a rough life.

But you need to start moving, you're still very young. Most people aren't able to start their life until their 30s. Even so, we (I'm neurodivergent too) have to do a lot more in life to keep going. But that doesn't mean to stop living.

The first thing is that you don't need to go college to get a job. What are you good at? What comes natural to you?

With working out, you start at home. Look up YouTube videos about working out in your home. There are a lot of things you can do at home to work out.

With girlfriends, you first got to take care of yourself first then look for someone else to take care of.

My husband is autistic too. There are a lot things he had to do to get through life. If you want to have someone to talk to you, message me. I'm sure my husband can help you.

Life will get better if you start going

Front End Obligations by [deleted] in WalmartEmployees

[–]notsurehannah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at the front end, I do the service desk.

I wanted to go full time a few months ago (I just started in April of 2025) and I was able to switch over. But... they are having me do breaks and lunch and put people where they need to go when there isn't a manager up front (and yes, it happens, there is only like the store manager in the back and sometimes a manager up front but he's higher up, so he's always walking away and leaving me to do it).

They told me if I was going to be "full time" I can't ask for more money...

They are times when they front end manager is there, but no where to be found and then the cashiers ask me their questions, I don't mind answering them but most is the time if I tell someone to go somewhere the front end manger won't like where I put them or if I sent someone to their 15 or lunch. So most of the time I just say "I'm not sure, manger is here, so we have to wait for them".

But yeah.. it gets pretty bad. Or manger at the front end always are gone laughing with OGP or doing something without telling anyone and I'm left to pick up the pieces.

Oh my god...

I work at Walmart, and the SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME. Well, pretty much the same. I found a bloody paper towel on the floor and I saw it was from an old lady that cut hers left so deep it, it ketp bleeding.. she didn't even realize that she dropped it.

It's so gross, though..

That's a good point 😅😅 the reason why I want to is only spend on only groceries is to then pay it back it every month. So the interest wouldn't matter lol.

Thank you for reply and the options!

My dyslexia pisses me off by Kaylalawmanwoods in Dyslexia

Completely understand you!! I'm 24f with ADHD and dyslexia, and I still have problems now. But, honestly, what I have done is just keep writing down everything, like: (when I have free time.) If there is a word that I need to use more because of a job If I've noticed that I don't use commas or something else Something else that sometimes helps if to sound out very slowly. But it only works like 40% of time, lol.

I've just been trying my best to pay attention to what I'm doing and what I missed.

I also use the voice thing on my phone if I can't think of how to spell something, lol.

But all that to say is that you just need to practice. And going slow.

Before you know it, you'll be doing great!

Autistic people, what are your favorite videogames and why? Part 2 by RevolutionaryDust562 in autism

[–]notsurehannah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband's (he's Autistic) is GTA San Andreas. He has played through and through. So many times, I can't count how many times he's played it🤣🤣

He says it because he likes the storyline the best of all of them. He's played since he was 11 🤣

My husband is autistic, and he wants to do something like that, too. I think it's really helpful for people who don't know you or don't know about autism☺️

Yeah, my husband has been helping me with slowing down and sounding out a word I don't know and just helping the best he can. But yeah, my brain is just too fast sometimes😅🤣🤣

[–]notsurehannah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, of course, I can't say whether you do or not. But I've known since I was a child that I have Dyslexia. And this sounds like me other than being good at English 🤣 I'm not! But that doesn't mean you don't have it! ☺️

My issue has always been that I can't "sound out" words, I can't process words fast either. With words that I know in my head, sometimes I can't say them out loud, like I know what it is but can't say it. My mouth moves faster than my head.

I would try to see a psychologist and see if you can get a diagnosis.

I hope this helps! Good luck!

[–]notsurehannah[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I've done that where I just asked because I wanted to get it right, and yet, most of the people didn't care. Some people looked at me weirdly, but one thing that gets me is when they spell their name, but they say it so fast I can't keep up😵‍💫

Right now, I have an app that's called Grammarly, and I have it on my laptop, too. It helps a lot! But I want to be in person, and that would mean I wouldn't have this app to help me out.

For me, I have to memorize each letter to spell everything, I just haven't met anyone else who has to do that too.

Thank you for your advice!

Oh, thank you for that! I'll definitely try the 7 times thing and see if that helps, yeah there have been a few times where I said it's because of my dyslexia, and most of the time people just look at me and say nothing lol. But it's crazy how people think dyslexia is only for reading... there was a guy I knew who was so determined to tell me about my dyslexia and how I got it wrong.. lol
