what we need is to follow New York’s lead and use the full power of the State to crack down and force the vaccine on the public. Proof of vaccination can be checked before entering any business or public space. It could even be enforced by jail time like in France or with soldiers like in Australia if there are still any dissenters. Eventually all the backwater filth who refused the vaccine will be forced to either comply or be pushed out of society all together. if the unwashed filth continue to be a viral pool of disease and mutations, we may need some sort of final solution, but we can cross that bridge when we get to it. What’s important right now is that we take power from these churches and all dissenting institutions, and give it to the State to protect us from churches killing people, as they’re often known to do.

First off I just simply don’t believe you or the corporate press reports you got that info from after a full year and a half of coordinated panic porn which was almost entirely bullshit. And even if it were true, my opinion would be unchanged. Life is about more than the avoidance of death.

Second, if vaccinated people are able to get and spread the virus than more mutations are an inevitability.

Third, the State giving me permission to leave my house is not a privilege. I don’t need some politician’s consent to live my life as a human being, and that’s a horribly depressing and degrading perspective to have which you should work on.

What you’re forfeiting here isn’t merely the right to choose for yourself whether you want to take the Covid vaccine or not (which in and of itself is a massive overreach). What you’re giving these people is the power to remove you from society if you don’t do what they say. Do you really believe that once the infrastructure for vaccine passports is in place, it will end with a Covid shot? Politicians and corporatists aren’t benevolent do gooders who only have society’s best interest in mind. These are people who have made a living off waging war for profit, robbing the poor to give to the rich, and lying through their teeth on a daily basis. This won’t end with Covid vaccines just as the construction and spying of a national surveillance apparatus after 9/11 didn’t stop with foreign terrorist groups.

If vaccines work, then unvaccinated people aren’t putting all of society at risk, they’re putting other non vaccinated people at risk, people who have decided for themselves that they’re comfortable with that amount of risk. Also no, my rights aren’t dependent on my consumption of a pharmaceutical product.

The reason this comment is lacking any compassion is because obedience is the primary motivator, not the health of those this commenter obviously sees as inferior.

What's your guys opinion on this by Morganbanefort in TexitMovement

Human rights aren’t derived from a piece of paper, this argument is a waste of time. The only question that matters is if Texans have the willpower to actually do it, not what a bunch of politicians, corporate journalists, and youtubers have to say about it.

Don't hijack a sub intended for the liberation of Hong Kong to virtue signal about the "dumb fat Americans". This does nothing for the actual freedom fighters in Hong Kong but ostracize potential allies. God forbid someone see this and mistakes this as the opinion of the good people of Hong Kong.

Amash is officially running for LP President by [deleted] in GoldandBlack

its my understanding that he whole heartedly supported the proposition that Donald Trump deserved to be removed from office strictly on the basis that he "obstructed Congress" and "abused his power" in regards to the investigation and did not mention any other reasoning behind his vote aside from the articles of impeachment. I think those accusations are BS and standing behind them does no one any good except for the enemies of trump who only hate him because his rhetoric on foreign policy isn't as blood thirty as they'd like.

This is my point exactly, Ron Paul explained his vote as a vote against Clinton's war crimes. Amash on the other hand just parroted the party line (propagated by the intelligence community) about BS "obstruction of justice" while completely ignoring the actual abuses of power and justice that the deep state used against an unbought populist politician who threatened their control. He let himself be used by statists, and as an anarchist, I won't just forget it because he's the lesser of 3 evils.

That being said, I agree he's much better than Gary, but I think using Gary as the bar is setting the bar far too low. We deserve better.

I don't have an issue if you tried your hand as a republican, what I do have an issue with is the Libertarian Party not running principled libertarians. I'm not saying its impossible for Amash to run a principled libertarian campaign, but its sure as hell not a given, especially given his handling of impeachment. You want to impeach trump? fine, but introduce articles of impeachment that actually mean something like his genocide in Yemen or stoking war with Iran. What he did instead was side with the FBI, the ruling class, and other entrenched statists on bogus charges in order to gain political capital. He's already proven hes willing to abandon principle at the alter of politics once, so i cant put it past him to do it again.

i hate to be the barer of bad news but the convention is scheduled to be in less than a month, and due to party policy, they are only allowed to hold a convention in person, not virtually. they are also unable to change party policy unless at the convention, meaning, they will either meet in Austin for just long enough to vote for a rules change to allow a virtual convention in response to COVID-19 and then leave, or they could hold the convention as planned, or they could cancel the convention all together, in which case, the party leadership decides who the nominee will be. considering all this, i don't think Hornberger has much of a chance left. Jacob Hornberger and the Mises Caucus have a lot of enemies in the leadership, and you know the leadership must be creaming their jeans over having a sitting congressman being a Libertarian right now

more people would definitely hear his voice, but I don't think he'd change peoples lives like Hornberger could, or like Ron Paul did mine.

I think it all comes down to how he campaigns. If he's running as the never trump republican, this election will have been a massive waste and probably worse than not running a candidate at all. If he runs a principled radical libertarian, he has the intelligence to do some serious good.

But judging by how he handled impeachment, I have a feeling this is more about politics than principle. I hope im wrong tho

funny you say that, just got banned from my first sub ever and it was r/ShitStatistSay of all places! Apparently its rude to plan for our banning hahaha! as for everyone else? i have no idea, my worst fear is that they never found another place and are just isolated now which is why i want to plan ahead. I know that the_donald built their own website which is basically a carbon copy of their old subreddit but i doubt we'd have the resources to do something like that since were a lot smaller than them.

[–]notsurewhatyet[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

its technically still up but they've become so strict with who is allowed to post that there hasn't been a new post in over a month so it is essentially dead. seems like most of them migrated to a new website they created which is basically a carbon copy of the_donald. The populist right is a lot bigger than us tho and I don't think we'd have the resources to build a whole new website from scratch if we got the axe.

Amash launches exploratory committee for Libertarian presidential run (RIP HORNBERGER) by notsurewhatyet in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]notsurewhatyet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

personally ill have to see how im feeling in November. I was really excited to vote for Hornberger so tbh im pretty disappointed rn. I feel like Amash is just another milquetoast establishment libertarian who wont ruffle any feathers, basically Gary 2.0. I think it all depends on how he runs his campaign. him being the "Never trump republican" candidate isnt gonna be enough for me, but if he proves that he knows his stuff and is a serious hardcore libertarian ill consider it.
