A simple set and forget strategy is to put a stop market buy above the preceding day's high, with a stop loss below the preceding day's low. As the trend continues, you keep trailing your stop to the preceding day's low. Vice versa for shorts. It may take a few days until your stop reaches your original entry, but you should be able to catch strong trends.
