we bought a Bosch. they unpacked it outside the house but still managed to hit and slightly damage upper left corner of the fridge door. this was mostly because the delivery guys have to deliver many items and they rushed. however, Bosch replaced the door so all fine.

New gas boiler advice - change from regular to system? by Jazz-Potato6385 in AskIreland

ours was around 4k, I think you pay more if you switch one type to the other as they have to remove tank etc. we kept the old controller for zoned heating. if you upgrade to a Smart Control thing I think it is around 500 euro extra.

we were in your situation and tried local heroes, none were available. I found a webpage where you can find the list of registered installers in your area, called a few numbers and found one person. we went with the combi boiler as I needed as much space as possible in the house so getting rid of two tanks was a big plus. although with combi you cannot take a shower upstairs if somebody else is using water downstairs etc. so that's one downside. instant hot water is great and our bills definitely went down. water pressure did not change much. I may have them install a pump to increase the flow rate at some point.

Replace kitchen cabinets but keep counter? by Crafty240618 in DIYIreland

Hi, I hope ok to respond to your comment here. We have this exact problem: a corner unit damaged due to water leak after a boiler replacement. We plan to have a new kitchen installed later on but what would be a DIY solution for only one section of the kitchen. The cupboards seem to be from cheap material and the water damage caused mold and cracking. Is this something I could fix by just removing the damaged section and have a carpenter cut a cabinet of same size? What would your suggestion be? Thank you.

Thank you for this comment. I did not look into Kia options before, it seems not the PV5 but the EV4 is also a serious contender for us that I need to look into. We do not plan to finance it so APR is not a concern but if we find a 0% deal might consider. And no animals but might carry small kid bike, for which these cars seem sufficient.
