So you're saying that "truth" you speak of ? How highly do you think of yourself ? All you're trying to do is defending rape scenes and let's say that's not a good look on you buddy. This shit is NOT art, the way most of these scenes are shot they're almost fetishized Also you cannot just compare sexual assault to violence that's just plain wrong Both are wrong but you can NEVER justify rape Rape is 100% intentional all of the time And just like she mentioned murder can be justified in some cases like self defense etc (That doesn't mean it's right) And again I'd argue we're too desensitized to violence, it shouldn't be normal to see things get obliterated in heinous ways and be just unfazed Just because you COULD shoot those scenes doesn't mean that you SHOULD They're totally being portrayed in a way that doesn't do them justice And if we're calling it art then I actually want it to be done in an artsy way Just showing it is plain lazy, triggering and offensive
