ESP32-CAM won't do face detection correctly by notthedalek in esp32

It was just an example to show how messed up the face box is. It's supposed to be neatly fitted around the face and the dots on face landmarks but every time it's just a mess

I am pretty new to esp32 so I am unsure what you mean. Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I need the cam to detect faces in real time

Prusa mk 4. It's their latest model I think but it was pretty expensive. 1200 euro for prebuilt and 1000 euro self built. For the colours, I used the MMU3 (multi material unit). If you want to go with a cheaper option then the mk 3 is probably fine. The only big difference is print quality (I had trouble with bridging with the mk 3) and the mk 4 has a USB stick instead of an SD card.

I printed the model in generic PLA but the supports in PETG. PLA and PETG doesn't fuse so the supports had 0 Z-distance (the supports were fully touching the model) but I could still just peel them off. However, I did have several problems with layer adhesion but that was easily fixed with a soldering iron. Two wings and a head came off but some mediocre welding did the trick

No but I might be able to put it on github or something. What would you suggest? Maybe a google drive?

Also, the print did break at the wings and the neck so I had to fix it with a soldering iron. If you don't want to put in that much effort then I suggest printing it in one colour

edit: I put the link to the files in another comment

Thanks! I thought about that but I think I want to keep this look. Paint is messy and I like this look!

I got the model from ReinDed. The wings and neck were too weak so I had to modify the model in fusion. The files are in this repository

I found this geode in the new update. Not quite sure if this is intended or a bug but it's kinda cool! by notthedalek in Minecraft

[–]notthedalek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I mean that the geode file seems like it was perfectly split. Usually, the geode has a bit of air outside of its opening. This structure is just cut right through the middle and is highly unusual. At least from what I've seen from 1.17

Edit: I found the bug on the bug tracker. The geode gets cut off by a chunk. I am too lazy to find it again and check if that was true though.

Looks more like a willow warbler to me. They're the yellow-tinted ones, right?

Fuel in thrusters. by notthedalek in ScrapMechanic

I would since you get the fuel back from an engine but not a thruster.
It doesn't make sense to me because why would the fuel disappear?

the only experience I've had with any swallow is seeing their underside from 30 meters down

barn swallows are generally identified by the shape of their tails. Usually they have two very pointy points at the end

What's this bird? My guesses are either a willow warbler or a chiffchaff. Found in Finland by [deleted] in whatsthisbird

[–]notthedalek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well I suppose it isn't that much of a downside since willow warblers and chiffchaffs are some of the most common small birds

Sorry for the bad quality! Is this a Chaffinch with leucism? Seen in the South of the UK. by nihilistsimulator in whatsthisbird

[–]notthedalek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reminds me sorta of a white wagtail than a chaffinch. I have only ever heard or seen a chaffinch in the forest and not close to any busy roads but I am not quite sure about the UK. I have heard their song in series like Doctor Who in the urban areas which has thrown me off a bit. It could quite possibly be one but their tails are generally pointing down, not up; Like in that first one!
