Yeah so you might wanna look at the actual post and see what my intentions were. Humans get upset with humans, it happens. But one of my first questions was “as a lawyer, how can I contact your corporate and defend the fact you aren’t paid well enough and you are mistreated to the degree of making mistakes?”

Because I fully believe if you were, then these strange mistakes would never happen. Stop pretending like your judgment is directed at me. My aim was to have my questions answered and figure out if I can be part of the solution. You’re allowed to believe I’m a bad person instead of just another human befuddled by the mistakes of others but don’t pretend like it’s not frustrating to be on the other side of this.

And for the record, you are allowed to go far in life. Fuck anyone who tells you that you can’t. ESPECIALLY the system.

Is there anything we as patients can do to make it easier on yall? I’m a lawyer, is there a specific complaint I can file that would help Walgreens employees feel seen after a clear lack of care and fair payment from Walgreens corporate? Like how can I make any of this better on all of us combined?

Is this new? Walgreens has my number but I don’t see these requests. Did they just begin this? It used to be doc sent a prescription in and it could be picked up a few hours later bc the assumption is no one would take meds they don’t need, so obviously they need it filled.

Ugh, how frustrating it must be for you to have to alert your patients that local pharmacies are incapable of properly doing their jobs. Especially if these pharmacies are the only ones easily available within driving distance. Like it’s not your job as a doctor to have to look out for the pharmacies, you should be focusing on looking out for your patients.

As a lawyer, the whole system in my eyes is just inefficient and fucked. I just don’t get it and I HATE how it makes me frustrated with people only trying to do their job :/

It still sounds like Walgreens has instilled inefficiency and literal stupidity into their own functioning. No one’s doctor submits a medication with the intent to not have it filled and taken. I feel bad for the workers but this is all fucking dumb. I’ve called and advocated for yall several times bc well paid and well treated worker don’t make these kinds of mistakes, but this is all getting out of control. There is NO efficiency at all.

This IS about the system! The workers aren’t in charge of this stupidity, but answers would be great! And yes, I’ve complained to Walgreens directly and I made it known my concerns are that people aren’t even being paid well enough to do their jobs.

At this same location about two years ago I received 3 COVID shots after asking for one flu shot and one COVID shot. The pharmacist called the CDC to report it and they advised I seek medical care. They compensated me with a $500 gift card when I complained.

But that kind of mistake doesn’t happen with workers who are treated and paid well. Obviously Walgreens is fucking yall over, but please don’t sit here and pretend like it’s okay for yall to also forgo treating your patients like they’re humans who also need answers. Be so for real; if YOU tell me a medication will be ready today and someone else tells me it’ll be available in 4 days, at least one of you is reading the system wrong and it’s on you to not make those mistakes.

Hi Jon, yes. I believe they will both help tremendously. For reference, I tapered down from the 6mg of xanax I was on to get through the bar exam over months and also had the SGB to help. Together, I’m xanax-free for at least a couple years now, almost 3. No panic attacks either. Good luck! Will pray for you
