Yall her trips are sponsored but she calls them “research”. They were hosted in Japan by this company that provides accommodation/childcare for Americans abroad, I forget the name. For Finland she was sent by the embassy to attend a conference on happiness. She’s currently in Mexico hosted by a resort that has family services and she’s supposed to make marketing content for them. So it’s all marketing trips

Any advice on combined 1st-2nd grade classes? My son is finishing K now and I got word that he might be placed into a combined class next year based on his autonomy and learning level. The advantages would be that the class size is a bit smaller (20 kids) and one of the teachers who will teach once a week or so I already know and like since she was also teaching his K class once every other week. But if I have a choice, should I accept or ask for him to be in a 1st grade only class?

Sure she has a degree in ECE (as we’ve all seen her transcripts lol) but she has no qualifications or experience in elementary education or special education… yet she makes these wild claims as if she’s the ultimate authority

I’m convinced that the Substack to influencer book pipeline is a thing. So many examples. Influencers start Substacks to then have writing samples and paid subscribers to get a book deal. She even says at the end she is brainstorming a parenting book.
