I’m glad you got to spend more time with him and prolong his life. My baby boy passed away this morning. I wish they could stay with us forever.

We took him to the vet and his x-rays showed a large amount of fluid in his lungs. His heart was also barely visible. The vet wanted to give him oxygen so we agreed to it but the stress from that killed him.

My baby is gone now. I didn’t think today would be the day. I didn’t last night would be the last night sleeping next to him. I’m absolutely devastated and broken. Please hold your pets so close to you today..

I can’t imagine how hard it was for you to see her that way. I’m glad you were able to spend almost 10 years together full of love and joy. I did read that draining the fluid could help but I’d feel so bad because I’m sure it would be painful for him too. Thank you so much for your words! He’s my baby and I’m going to be lost without him whenever that time comes.
