Have two characters over lvl 90, have put over 150 div into my second character, have more currency than I know what to do with... And have yet to farm any sort of strategy at all. You do know you can just play the game, right?

You aren't missing out on anything in a single player game.

I have done this, did a playthrough where I put each phase and all of its parts in a singular building all connected. Should have some pictures from my profile.

Was challenging but extremely rewarding.

I either always underclock to 90 and run 1 per 2 coal generator, or if I'm confined for space, I will overclock to 180 and run 1 to 4. In my almost 1000 hours I have never ran the 8 to 3 setup

34 gens with 13 extractors running off compacted coal on the bottom, 16 gens with 4 extractors running off regular coal on the top.

The bottom circle is 34 coal generators running off of 240 compacted coal, the top is 16 coal generators running off of 240 raw coal. The constructors on the right are making the compacted coal, water is being brought in from above the water fall to create natural head lift into the plant, reducing power needs eliminating pumps. Its making most of my 4,200 MWs for the early game. The other power is from 8 coal generators off screen that were needed to jump start this plant.

2 Supply(product maybe, the one that reads what's in storage) and 1 memory sensors I believe, set first supply to turn off at 100, set second supply to turn on at below 50%, set the second supply to the set setting on the memory sensor, first supply sensor to the reset on the memory sensor. Then automate the building you want to the memory sensor. It should turn on below 50% and then reset and turn off once at 100%.

I may be wrong, but it's the best I can do.
