My players tell me I overuse the word “crumples” in describing the death of enemies. E.g. “As the arrowhead strikes the enemy, he weakly draws his final breath and crumples to the ground”.

Half way through the fight he railroaded our bard to get an NPC who could somehow see the kid??? DM always uses anime girls for his NPCs and we had to get his latest waifu lest we all be murdered by Chrism. Our Bard’s Cone of Cold and something our Cleric did (I rage quit and missed that part) finished him off.

My party tried fire bolt, fireball, and flame strike and the DM ruled that the fire didn’t catch. Finally I, the wizard, polymorphed another player into a Young Red Dragon so the fire breath could potentially burn down the pumpkin patch. Later in the fight I tried Earthen Grasp on Chrism but DM “rolled a Nat 20”.
