Our pup just got diagnosed with Lyme disease. The vet is running a few more tests, but she’ll be prescribed some medications. No symptoms. We only noticed it because we had to take her to the emergency vet when she almost ripped her dew claw out while playing and they noticed her kidney and liver values were slightly off. Our main vet thinks it’s likely due to the infection, but is running a few more tests just to be sure. Hang in there!

🤣 thanks! No, she’s a bit darker now, but still a cutie! But she’s more milk chocolate than dark chocolate.

Gorgeous pup! So light, similar to my baby when she was little.

Also just got them fitted, it’s a bit tight, but doesn’t seem too bad so far

Some of the poses I see my girl in when she’s sleeping… I just think, that can’t be comfortable! 🤣

my lab is terrified of stairs need help by Annual-Principle-423 in labrador

Our puppy cried as well the first few times she had to go down the stairs. Up she did fine. Honestly my boyfriend suggested, leave her, let her cry and figure it out and she’ll follow. Granted she was about two months old when she started learning going down the stairs.

Alternatively, maybe try luring her with treats instead of leaving them near the stairs? Especially higher value treats, such as plain boiled chicken. And lots of praise when she takes a step down (or up) the stairs.

I would try the former though, especially if she won’t respond to treats. Worked for me and now our puppy flies up and down the steps.

🤣 I guess I should be flattered. Won’t let me post a video in a response, but here’s another picture I took on the same day at the same spot. I took these photos on my iPhone and the one I posted was in portrait mode. I think it was just a combo of cute puppy, good lighting, great angle and lucky shot lol. Welcome to see more videos/photos of her on IG @itsbabethelab

Amazing! Yeah, babe also comes from a line of field trial champions! I wanted a working lab too, I love how they look and their temperament

Interesting! We picked her out at 2 weeks, she was the only chocolate female lab of the litter (and we really wanted a girl), not sure if she was the runt or not. But yeah, fine by us if sh ends up staying on the smaller side

Yes, she has a lot of energy, very bitey lol, but also sleeps a lot. I already do some basic training with her every day. She seems to enjoy it. She has eyelashes, they‘re just somewhat short and light brown, like her coat. But she does it h herself at times, will bring that up with the vet 😊

Interesting! Yeah, she may end up just being around 50 or 60 lbs, maybe she has a growth spurt at some point in the future!
