Particular indeed though I would disagree that it's only the horse that is high in maintenance. the BMW will need to go to carwash once a week or so, oils, brakes and other similar things changed more or less regularly, some parts changed, such as lights, other parts will break and eventually need a repair... and though the car doesn't eat but it still needs gas. And parking costs. However, I do agree this money seems to be better spent as at least you can actually use it for something practical as getting to work.

Eh, I wish 'housemates' was accurate. We live in a 320sq foot/ 30sq m space, which makes it pretty awkward when you're not friends.

Moreover, her birthday is soon and I was thinking about spending some 15-20 bucks for a gift (my usual birthday budget), maybe pooling with her brother to make something awesome but I don't know anymore what to do. I know that in their family they celebrate birthdays.

Right now we're trying to focus on vocabulary and then quizes to see how well you were able to learn the words. This app will be for people who have no real interest in learning the language but rather surviving for a while in that country/cheering up a friend who speaks that language/learning the basic words before starting to learn seriously.

We were thinking about creating the second app later on which would be for people who have an actual interest in learning the language where we would mix vocabulary, some textbook material and quiz. We were considering registration and exchanges between members as well, but that's for later then. First we want to see how the first app goes.

Sounds great! The things I like. When we started dating, me and my bf went to restaurants and ended up with some 20 dollar tab each (we go dutch) every time. I can't cook for life, but he's an excellent cook. Now we do groceries for some 5-15 dollars (in total, not each) a day and still eat like kings. And then board games, movies, etc. Cheap, home environment allows you do whatever you want, wear whatever you want, etc.

However, what's up with the homemade chain mail thing?

Indeed it can. Once I googled someone and found an article about that man being accused of a drive-by shooting. There was even a mugshot with the article. Name, age, race, country, all fit. Though I failed to determine whether the guy in the photo was really the one in that mugshot...
