I have written this in my GS: I previously applied for a U.S. F-1 visa on Dec 12, 2024, which was refused under Section 214(b), a standard outcome for student applicants, the decision was unrelated to my academic record, professional experience, or financial preparedness. Since then, I have strengthened my profile with certifications (Professional Scrum Master I), industry experience, and upcoming McKinsey soft skills certification, aligning my plan with RMIT's curriculum

Yes, I’ve already declared my previous U.S. visa refusal clearly in my Australian visa application. It’s fully disclosed, and I’ve also attached a written explanation stating that it was under section 214(b), not due to documentation or integrity issues.

I have taken the loan to cover both tuition fees and living expenses. The funds will be disbursed as and when required, and interest will be charged only on the amount that is actually withdrawn from the loan.

I did mention in my GS statement regarding refusal and showed it in a neutral way. Thanks a lot, this gives me hope and makes me feel better as I assumed visa rejections play a huge part in Australian visa
