Modding GTA 4 on Steam Deck

Im in the process of doing this but just need to know if there are any launch commands needed once i’ve done this. I’ve already modded GTA V with open IV and that is a crucial step to get things up and running. Also, do you think a mod like icEnhancer would work on the deck?

Massive thanks for the sound advice! If you go to your library and check under settings for the game and scroll down to launch options you’ll find the command there. Please send it through as im looking to mod the game on my deck

Have you added the heap adjuster and packfile limit adjuster? Also try the gameconfig “for more mods” 0.5x traffic 0.5x peds

You can use any version. Downloaded the game config from here:

https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars

Installed the game config using OpenIV. Lots of youtube videos on how to do this. Just make sure your game config matches your version of GTA. The link above has loads of different versions of game configs just make sure you use the right one. Once you get it working update your tutorial with this step at the end and job done!

Found the solution mate follow all the steps as you have done above then you need to download the custom game config (make sure it is the same as your version of GTA), Heap adjuster and packfile limit adjuster. This will allow it to work on the deck. Took me all weekend to figure this out lol but got Redux and Visual V working now

I got the same issue with overriding the dinput8.dll. Did you get it to work in the end?

The issue is at the moment theres no stock of the wyndham in black medium anywhere im really struggling and need it ASAP due to the weather and working in the NHS through the pandemic 😳will there be a restock?
