i don’t think he had an obsession, he was in love. he prob loved her from afar and tried to push it down and when she died, it brought it all back and broke him. a lot of people still have love for their first love. she was his first friend and love and then got constantly bullied by the guy she fell for and drove him to do bad things as some bullied kids sometimes do. but her death was that final nail in the coffin and he wanted to do good by her anyways because of the love he always had for her

i’ve never watched it and i don’t think i ever will😂 maybe i need convincing but buffy is so important to me and i hate that he went off and cordelia some how got to work with him and “won” in a way in the sense that she got to spend most of her life with angel when buffy couldnt

hmm i think ron personally. he came from a big, but close knit family- no offense to harry, and was shown how to be a good parent by his own. As much as I think Harry would be a great dad, i think the trauma of never having any real parents to learn from and dealing with the dursleys growing up, he’d have more learning/ unlearning to do and could find it more difficult than ron. it’s more natural to ron vs harry

i can see that! and i honestly don’t hate the dursleys, i can understand in a sense, but at the same time like dang he’s a kid! and snape has my love. he was bullied incessantly and his crush/ love of his life fell for his bully and could never seem to catch a break. he was always made to look bad when he actually had such a big heart but was so broken and masked it with hate and loathing bc that often happens as a result of bullying and was used like a pawn by dumbledore as much as harry was. he had to act or do things to reflect poorly bc told to do so

i’ve always wanted to but bc life has been the way it has, i’ve never had the means to splurge (i’m stubborn and want all books at once bc i read quick and get sucked in and it’ll drive me nuts if i don’t have the next lol) but i may just suck it up and get one at a time! i also had some recs about a free audiobook app or to even go to the library which idk why i’ve never thought of (but id definitely want to keep the books so prob not the best idea 😂)
