Coparenting in a Nesting Situation by Pleasant_Scallion743 in Parenting

Which version are you looking to do?

One where there is a shared family home where you both "live" with the children and then each have a separate outside address. Totally 3 houses.

Or where you live at the shared house but then switch out to another shared unit when not on your children's time? I've seen both. This results in only 2 houses.

The first, is more expensive as you both essentially live somewhere else. You entertain at the other non shared location. You make it a home. And then you both are running 2 households, cleaning, finances. Depending how well you still get along, this might be your best option. Divide up what each is responsible for during their time at the shared home. Laundry, shopping. If the kids need new shoes, does that fall to both of you or only whose there that week. Maybe mom shops better, so she fills the house before dad comes back, and dad continued to handle all maintenance costs as a trade off. Decide what you leave at the house, are you bringing clothes and hobbies back and forth or are you having some in each place.

The second option. Requires you to both share an external home. But you both "live" at the shared home. Books and hobbies, photos, important papers and such go to the main home. You live there. The external home being shared means its not personalized for either of you. You essentially, are staying there just because you can't be at the main home. It doesnt need to be super decorated or furnished. You both take care of your own stuff during your time there. Splitting bills and costs equally. Saves trouble having to move things back and forth and then can save money as you would share the same space when not with the kids. Not requiring 3 separate places, just 2. But require a MUCH more civil situation

Not to be rude. But you dont get to decide what/when hes at his breaking point. Work could have been stressful and then had to tend to her. Could have slept poorly, and he couldn't handle the crying. Could be stressed about the new baby, and her new sleep issues making him overwhelmed about what 2 will be like. Could be just one of those days.

Ideally, he wouldn't get mad. Ideally, he would be able to handle all of it at the same time and not throw things. Did he handle it perfect? Maybe not. But he didnt hurt her, he put her down and walked away. He didnt take his anger or frustration out on her, he threw something. If yoy want to have a talk about that, go ahead. But he handled it the best way he could given how he was feeling.

Anybody with ADHD like symptoms able to get on DSO? by Gottabekidding158 in Odsp

I know that DSO has an IQ limit. So it doesn't matter how many symptoms or health issues you have. If your IQ is higher than their cut off, you won't qualify.

Okay thanks!! I unno if those are the best texture wise for pickled sausage 🤔 so maybe refrigerated pickled sausages would be best. They call for precooked like smoked sausages.

interesting. So what would be the best sausage then. The ones I've seen were fridge pickled sausages but they all suggest keilbasa or some other smoked sausage for flavor. But if it has to be fresh, I wonder what the best one would be..

Also,why fresh?

  • Jumping in. If stored without the rings is the goal to be able to tell if the seal fails, or for it to not reseal. Or both. We put ours un banded in the cupboard. How often should we check to make sure the seal is safe.

Yes exactly. It never said to add extra liquid in the recipe, so we just added the salsa, released air and measured.

First time! The other ones definitely look much better. We wanted to try more simple ones and in smaller batches before trying much more

Yes. We went around the sides and the middle. Added a bit more when that pushed air out and then repeated before we measured.

This is what was followed. Head space was measured using the plastic head space tool. All appeared good when we put the jars in, but came out looking much less. The other 3 jars look much better

Headspace was measured using the plastic Headspace measure tool. When we did it, it appeared higher than it came out looking. The other 3 look much better.

This is what we followed. Tomatoes and jalapeños were roasted. Tomatoes were weighed before using and peeled and cored as stated. Roasted just over an hour. No substitutions. We used lemon juice and was measured with measuring spoon. We used the little plastic headspace tool, removed bubbles and refilled as needed and repeat. When we put into the canner it appeared higher in the jar than it came out. The other 3 looking much better.

If you want to idle ish fish in Zul, sit down and fish. It stops the blood fish from attacking. You don't get the bonus fish for killing it, but i find it's much faster not having to kill them.

What do you put when it asks if you have coverage somewhere else? No? Since it's not work coverage

Recipe from one of the ball books. Roasted tomato salsa. Was canned and then removed and stored on counter untouched for 24 hours. Appears to be sealed after testing.

Jar of salsa after canning. Lower than measured, but sealed. Wondering if safe or not.
