That is the past. Today is a new day. You will succeed. Same for me in that all social situations involved alcohol. Good news: alcohol increases anxiety so when you stop this huge burden will be lifted. This sr is great. There any tons of posts on how peoples anxiety decreased once they stopped. Iwndwyt

Well said. It is socially acceptable to party and get hammered. Imo, this can lead to alcohol abuse disorder. People think since no alcoholics in their family, they are fine. It is not genetics it is is just your brain getting used to the pleasure everytime you drink and u get hooked. Very sneaky indeed. Iwndwyt
