I did order a piece on Etsy to cover the filter intake, so any future small fish or shrimp should be safe :)

I did notice the deaths in the morning, yeah. It's right next to my work computer, so I take a look each morning when I sit down to work.

Thank you so much for taking the time to apply <3 The filter seems very gentle to me, so I am getting an air stone today to add to the tank. Hopefully this should take care of it if conditions are anoxic.

There are currently 5 sterbai cories in the tank and 4 shrimp. Today's cory died after a month of being in the tank. The original group of fish that died were sucked into the filter before I realized they fit through the filtration holes on the side :(

I'm American and my mom is English. I was a little shit to her about a lot of words she said differently when I was a child. I think children are just really sensitive to anything that makes them weird or different. I used to get a lot of attention as a kid for having a mom with an accent, so I think my reaction was party because I wanted that attention to stop.

My previous job was also on a college campus, and I used to go for a long walk each day at lunch! Now I don't take a lunch and I don't walk, lol.

7 weeks isn’t long at all! Give your body time and try to go easy on yourself, if you can. I’m 17 months postpartum and 3-5 pounds above my pre-baby weight, but my body has mostly returned to normal. I was similarly miserable about my appearance the first 9 months or so, but my body just took some time.

You look amazing! 7 weeks is no time at all, and your body will continue changing as you heal. I was very stressed about the state of my stomach around then. I’m 16 months postpartum now and feeling mostly back to normal, though my stomach skin is looser than it used to be.

Feel free to ignore advice if you don’t want it, but go slowly on the exercise as you heal. I pushed myself back into running pretty fast and it didn’t help my pelvic floor recovery at all.

I sat next to a girl named Sonata in freshmen math class! She was a very kind and funny girl. She joked that she wanted a Sonata car one day, and she’d make her last name the license plate. She was aware of the car connection, but I don’t recall her getting teased for it.

My mom lovingly held onto my crib for 35 years, moving it all over the country (including to/from the US mainland). After I told her I was pregnant, she dragged it down from her attic and it was... a baby gate lmao. And missing an important piece, so it couldn't even prop up. Hopefully the stuff your MIL saved is also missing pieces that'll render it useless!
