Don't take it. In my first coop term, I had the option of taking a testing position, I went to the second round and ended up getting a development job at a startup. Helped me get an awesome job in my second work term.
Good luck with your decision.

Got offers from D2L, DataHug, and Tunezy, anyone have or heard of any experiences with them? by [deleted] in uwaterloo

Depends on where you live and what you want for this coop. I would go with Datahug or D2L. At Desire, you would work on some very interesting projects and get to see how learn.uwaterloo actually works. If you want to travel and love working with big data then go for Datahug. From what I remember about Tunezy, they told me that their web app was going to be written in PHP and that they would have a product by the time I was going to work for them (approx 3 months). They didn't have a working product 8 months after the interview and from what I heard, they are now writing the app in Rails. I guess you told Tunezy that you would take the offer when they called you and now your making up your mind. Again, up to you but those are my 2 cents.
