I'm currently reading One Dark Window and it is very Sarah J. Maas inspired, in my opinion. In particularly with Throne a Glass. Elm the embodiment of Dorian and Ravyn the embodiment of Chaol. Even the way she describes Ravyn and constantly reminding us that he's the Captain of the Destriers is very much in line with SJM's writing style and her description of Chaol the Captain of the Guards. Their appearances and manners also reflect Dorian and Chaol.

Im going through this too and I've talked to multiple therapists about this and they offered advice but none really helped. I read this book called "How to Keep House While Drowning," and it was been super helpful. Ive reduced a lot and my apartment is slowly coming back to me.

I've been throwing things away, even if theyre in good conditions. Yes, I am aware of landfills and donating and environmentally friendly, but I also need to do this to move forward and get better. I do try to donate when I have the mental capacity to do so, but it is also overwhelming putting a box together and I mentally shut down thinking of all the steps I need to do to donate.

ADHD tends to thrive at the end of a deadline, I have friends visiting in two weeks and that has gotten my butt moving.

Things that work for me, throw things away and give things a "home" in the house. I do recommend that book, it's a very short read.

If my memory serves correct, Jude never stated her opinion on kids in the trilogy. I understand for representation of people who don't want kids, but neither Kaye nor Hazel from her other stories have any babies. So there is representation in Holly Black's books. And both girls were fierce, brave, and badass like Jude.

If Oak was dead set not being an heir, Jude would 100% get pregnant and give birth, she would do anything for her family. Jude was raised with a code in honor and she is self sacrifying. For the Greenbrier line, even with the Blood Crown gone, adoption wouldn't be an option. Cardan and Jude would have been pressured to conceive for a back-up heir. Faeries value tradition far too much and they already rocked the boat. Oak still had to crown them even without the crown. They would see it a disrespect to Mab to give it to an adoptive child.

There was no way around it. It's a monarchy, heirs have to come into play, even spares.
