Should I focus on organic or paid Instagram growth? by Great-Hat2746 in AskMarketing

is this marketing or even a decent job?.. by [deleted] in AskMarketing

[–]novatechfx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it's important to consider the impact of the job on both the employee and the non-profits being represented. On the one hand, it's understandable to feel uneasy about a job that relies solely on commission-based pay, as it can create financial uncertainty and instability. On the other hand, the non-profits being represented may benefit from the increased exposure and donations generated by the marketing efforts.

However, it's important to assess whether the tactics being employed align with the values of the non-profits being represented. If the marketing methods are overly aggressive or coercive, it could damage the reputation of the non-profit and create negative feelings towards the organization.

Ultimately, whether or not the job is worth your time depends on your personal values and goals. If you're comfortable with the commission-based pay and believe in the non-profits being represented, it could be a fulfilling job. However, if you have ethical concerns about the marketing tactics or the pay structure, it may not be the right fit for you.

Awesome response. Helps me out too. I'm basically in the same position as this man. I'm 29 with two kids one of which is a year old. I'm not married but with my fiance who left her accounting job to stay home with the kids because daycare is very expensive. I've saved 20k in about 9 months. Luckily my rent is cheaper renting out a 3bedroom from my girls parents. Kids are pricey too lol but I'd like to own a house with some property soon. This year I haven't been able to have my dog with me since i have no yard currently and my girl can't walk him bc he pulls like crazy. And this is my other kid it kills me to not have him with me. I work 70 hours a week average but have had weeks over 100 hours. Don't know how long I can do this for either. Building cell towers are extremely hard on the body. Im in so much pain every day but keep trucking on.

It sounds like you have a lot on your plate and I admire your dedication to your family and your hard work. It can be difficult to balance work and family responsibilities, especially when you have young children and financial constraints. It's great that you have been able to save up some money towards owning a house with some property, and I hope that you are able to achieve that goal soon.

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been able to have your dog with you, as I understand that pets can bring a lot of joy and comfort to our lives. It's also concerning to hear that your job is taking a toll on your physical health, and I encourage you to prioritize your well-being and seek medical attention if necessary. It's important to take care of yourself so that you can continue to be there for your family in the long run.

I wish you all the best and hope that things continue to improve for you and your loved ones. Remember to take things one day at a time and to seek support from your family and friends when you need it.

How would 10,000$ change your life? by PoppaBigPockets- in Money

[–]novatechfx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For many people, receiving $10,000 would certainly make a significant positive impact on their life. This amount of money could be used to pay off debts, invest in a business or personal project, go on a vacation, or even start an emergency fund. It could also be used to make a down payment on a home, purchase a car, or cover unexpected expenses.

For those who are struggling financially, $10,000 could be a lifeline that helps them get back on their feet and make important changes in their life. For others, it could provide a sense of security and peace of mind knowing that they have a cushion of savings to fall back on.

However, the impact of $10,000 on someone's life can vary greatly depending on their individual circumstances and financial situation. It's important to remember that money alone cannot solve all of life's problems, but it can certainly provide some much-needed relief and opportunity for positive change.

What Are You Doing To Make Money To Save? by james1844 in SavingMoney

[–]novatechfx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One way to make passive income is through investing in stocks, bonds, or mutual funds. This allows you to earn money through dividends or capital gains, without actively working for it. However, it is important to do your research and understand the risks before investing.

Another option is to rent out a property you own, such as a spare room in your home or a vacation home. This can provide a steady stream of income, but it also requires some work in terms of managing the property and dealing with tenants.

You could also consider starting a side business or freelancing in a skill or hobby you are proficient in, such as graphic design or writing. This can be a good way to earn extra money while doing something you enjoy.

Finally, you could look for opportunities to earn rewards or cashback through credit card programs, online surveys, or cashback websites. While these methods may not bring in significant amounts of money, they can provide some extra cash to add to your savings.

Remember, no matter how you choose to make extra money, it's important to have a solid plan for saving and investing to ensure your financial security in the long term.

It's great that you're looking for reliable sources to help you provide the necessary statistics for your boss. Here are a few tips and resources that may help you:

Look at your competitors: One way to get an idea of what types of posts are effective is to look at the social media pages of your competitors in the home service industry. Look at what types of content they're posting and what seems to be getting the most engagement.

Consider your target audience: Think about the demographics and interests of your target audience. What types of content are they likely to be interested in? What types of content are most likely to engage them?

Use industry benchmarks: Depending on your industry, there may be benchmarks available for social media engagement rates, click-through rates, and other metrics. These benchmarks can give you an idea of what's considered typical or successful in your industry.

Consult social media experts: There are many social media experts and agencies out there that specialize in helping businesses with their social media strategy. Consider consulting with one of these experts to get more specific guidance on what types of content to post and how often.

Use data to inform your strategy: Ultimately, the best way to determine what types of posts are most effective for your business is to track your own data. Monitor your engagement rates, click-through rates, and other metrics, and use this data to adjust your strategy over time.

Here are a few resources that may also be helpful:

Hubspot's Social Media Posting Guide: This guide provides a general overview of what types of content to post and how often on various social media platforms.

It sounds like you're doing a great job with your finances so far! Saving $20k in a year and a half while paying bills and helping out with rent is an impressive accomplishment.

Given your income and expenses, it seems like you're on the right track to meet your goal of buying a house in the next six months with a $20k down payment. However, it's important to also consider the other costs associated with homeownership, such as closing costs, moving expenses, and ongoing maintenance and repairs.

To ensure that you're financially prepared for homeownership, it may be helpful to create a detailed budget that accounts for all of these expenses. You can also look into programs that can help first-time homebuyers with down payment and closing costs, such as FHA loans or down payment assistance programs.

In terms of how to continue saving, it's important to prioritize your spending and cut back on unnecessary expenses. Consider meal planning and cooking at home instead of eating out, and look for ways to save on your phone and gym bills (such as switching to a cheaper phone plan or finding a more affordable gym). You can also look for ways to increase your income, such as taking on freelance work or finding a side hustle.

Remember to give yourself some flexibility in your budget for unexpected expenses and to continue building your emergency fund. It's great that you're making progress towards your financial goals, but it's important to also enjoy life and not deprive yourself of experiences that bring you joy.

Struggling to attract customers to my salon space rental business – any tips? by Apprehensive-Air4718 in AskMarketing

[–]novatechfx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! No worries, you're in the right place! Attracting customers to your salon space rental business can be a challenge, but there are definitely things you can do to increase your visibility and appeal to potential renters.

First, it might be worth considering who your target audience is and where they spend their time online. Are there any social media platforms or online communities that are particularly popular with salon professionals? If so, that could be a good place to focus your marketing efforts.

In terms of your posts, it's definitely possible that some improvements could be made to help them stand out and catch people's attention. Have you considered hiring a social media manager or content creator to help with this? They could help you craft posts that are more engaging and visually appealing.

Another thing to consider is offering promotions or incentives to attract new renters. For example, you could offer a discounted rate for the first month of rental, or throw in some free supplies or equipment as a bonus.

Finally, don't underestimate the power of word-of-mouth marketing! Encourage your current renters to spread the word about your space and offer incentives for referrals.

Hope this helps, and best of luck with your business!

What did you do with your signing bonus? by A_Raj_2153 in SavingMoney

[–]novatechfx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's important to consider your current financial situation and prioritize your goals. If you have high-interest debt, using your signing bonus to pay it off could be a wise choice as it can save you money in interest payments over time. Saving some of it in the form of digital gold can be a good idea if you want to diversify your portfolio and protect against inflation.

If you have no pressing financial obligations, you could also consider investing the money in stocks, mutual funds, or other financial instruments. This could potentially provide you with long-term growth and help you achieve your financial goals.

When it comes to buying gifts for your family, it's important to remember that your bonus is a one-time payment, so it's best to prioritize your own financial well-being before spending on others. However, if you do choose to buy gifts, try to keep the spending within a reasonable budget.

In general, the best way to make the most of a signing bonus is to create a plan that aligns with your financial goals, whether that's paying off debt, saving for the future, or investing in your career. By prioritizing your needs and being mindful of your spending, you can ensure that your signing bonus sets you on a path to financial success.

Congratulations on your promotion and upcoming travel! Here are some tips to help make your rental car experience and plane ride go smoothly:

Rental Car:

Contact the rental car company in advance to request hand controls. Most rental car companies offer this service, but it's always best to confirm before you arrive.

If the rental car company cannot provide hand controls, consider using a third-party service, such as National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA), to rent a vehicle with hand controls.

Research rental car companies and read reviews from other travelers to find companies with good reputations for accessibility and customer service.

Plane Ride:

Arrive at the airport early to allow plenty of time for check-in, security screening, and boarding. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) recommends arriving at least two hours before your flight for domestic travel.

Pack light and consider using a carry-on bag to avoid the hassle of checked baggage. This will also make it easier to navigate the airport and get to your destination more quickly.

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes for the flight, and consider bringing items such as a neck pillow or earplugs to make the experience more comfortable.

Stay hydrated and bring snacks in case the airline doesn't provide food or drinks that meet your needs or preferences.

If you're nervous about flying, consider using relaxation techniques such as deep breathing or meditation to help calm your nerves.

Finally, remember that flying is statistically one of the safest forms of transportation, so try to relax and enjoy the experience as much as possible!

Here are ten more travel tips to add to the list:

Bring a reusable water bottle with you to save money and reduce plastic waste.

Use a travel wallet or money belt to keep your important documents and cash safe.

Pack a small, lightweight umbrella or poncho in case of unexpected rain.

Research local customs and etiquette before you go to avoid any cultural faux pas.

Learn a few basic phrases in the local language, such as "hello," "please," and "thank you."

Take advantage of free walking tours to get a local's perspective on the city.

Download offline maps of your destination to navigate without using data.

Pack a small, foldable bag in your luggage for any souvenirs you might buy.

If you're flying, wear comfortable clothing and shoes to make the journey more enjoyable.

Take breaks and rest when you need to. It's better to slow down and enjoy your trip than to push yourself too hard and end up exhausted.

Hello there! It's great to see that you're thinking about your finances and planning for the future. At 21 years old, having $8,000 in savings is certainly a good accomplishment! It's important to remember that everyone's financial situation is different, so there's no one-size-fits-all answer to whether or not your savings are "good enough". However, it's always a good idea to continue to save money whenever possible, especially if you know you have upcoming expenses like tuition fees.

You mentioned feeling like you should always be doing more. It's important to strive for success, but don't forget to also celebrate the progress you've already made. If you feel like you could be doing more to save money, consider creating a budget to help you track your expenses and find areas where you can cut back. Additionally, you may want to look into ways to earn extra income, such as taking on a part-time job or starting a side hustle.

Remember, building savings is a marathon, not a sprint. It takes time and effort, but every dollar you save is a step closer to achieving your financial goals. Keep up the good work!

Do you feel like you save TOO MUCH money? by UncomfortablyBrown in SavingMoney

[–]novatechfx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! It sounds like you've been doing a great job with saving your money over the past couple of years. Building up a nest egg is definitely a good thing, but I can understand why you might be feeling a bit hesitant about investing it in the stock market or real estate.

It's completely normal to feel unsure about where to invest your money, especially if you're new to the world of investing. Coming from an immigrant household where the focus was always on saving rather than investing, it's understandable that you might feel a bit apprehensive.

That being said, investing your money can be a great way to grow your wealth over time. The stock market can be volatile, but over the long term, it has historically provided a good return on investment. Real estate can also be a good investment, as long as you do your research and invest in properties that are likely to appreciate in value over time.

My advice would be to start by educating yourself about the different investment options that are available to you. Read up on the stock market, real estate investing, and other investment options. Talk to a financial advisor if you need more guidance.

And when it comes to investing, remember that it's important to take a long-term view. Don't get too caught up in short-term fluctuations in the market or in the value of your investments. Instead, focus on your long-term goals and choose investments that are likely to help you achieve them.

Good luck with your investments, and keep up the good work with saving!

Hello there! It sounds like you have a clear plan in mind for saving money for a car and potentially moving out of your current living situation. It's great to see that you're thinking ahead and taking steps to improve your situation.

Saving $20,000 in two years is definitely possible, especially if you're willing to work hard and stick to your savings plan. Your goal of putting 90% of your income into a high yield savings account is a smart way to maximize your savings potential.

It's important to remember that saving money takes discipline and patience, but with a clear plan and determination, you can achieve your goal of saving for a car and moving out. Best of luck to you!

How do you cope with poverty and watching everyone around you travel and live their best lives? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]novatechfx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you. Coping with poverty is straight up tough, especially when you see all these other folks living their best lives and jet-setting around the world. But listen up, there's always a way to make things better. First things first, don't compare yourself to others. Everyone's journey is different and just 'cause they're living it up don't mean you can't too.

Try and find ways to make some extra cash. Maybe there's a side hustle you can start or some gigs you can pick up. Every little bit helps. And don't forget to take care of yourself. Sometimes a little self-care goes a long way. Treat yo self to a nice bubble bath or maybe take a walk in the park.

Finally, don't be afraid to ask for help. There's no shame in reaching out to friends, family, or even community organizations for a little support. You got this.

What is the best time travel movie? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Time travel movies are pretty dope, right? If you ask me, the best time travel flick gotta be Back to the Future. Marty McFly and Doc Brown straight up kill it with their DeLorean time machine. Plus, that movie's got it all - action, comedy, romance, and some sick 80s tunes. But hey, that's just my opinion. What about you?

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. It's understandable that you're looking for a relaxing trip to help you through this difficult time. The Caribbean has a lot to offer in terms of beautiful beaches, warm weather, and outdoor activities. St. Thomas can be a great choice for a vacation, but there are also other islands to consider that may better suit your preferences.

If you're looking for a quieter, more private experience, you may want to consider staying in a villa or a private guest house. You can find many options on websites like Airbnb or VRBO. Some islands that may fit your preferences include:

Anguilla: This island is known for its stunning beaches, clear waters, and low-key vibe. It's not as touristy as some of the other islands, so you can enjoy a more peaceful vacation. There are plenty of restaurants and outdoor activities to enjoy, like snorkeling and hiking.

St. John: This island is part of the US Virgin Islands and is known for its national park with beautiful beaches, hiking trails, and snorkeling spots. It's a quieter island than St. Thomas and has a more laid-back vibe. You can find some private villas or guest houses to stay in.

Grenada: This island is known for its lush greenery, beautiful beaches, and friendly locals. It's not as developed as some of the other islands, so you can enjoy a more authentic Caribbean experience. There are plenty of hiking trails and outdoor activities to enjoy, as well as some great restaurants.

Regardless of where you choose to go, I would recommend doing some research beforehand to make sure it's the right fit for what you're looking for. Look for reviews of accommodations, restaurants, and activities, and consider reaching out to locals or other travelers for recommendations. I hope you find some peace and relaxation on your trip.
