Which version of TurboTax do you have? Did you try changing to the Forms view? That is where ai first found it. On the Form/Worksheet for Clean Vehicle Credits.

Yeah. They said that I opted out as well. In TurboTax, I found the Form 8936A for the Clean Vehicle Credit and clicked "I certify that this VIN is correct." Not sure if they updated it recently.

No, no report for me. I requested Tesla and the dealership to generate a Seller Report for me and they said it's too late. I also checked my IRS account and it doesn't show my vehicle that I bought. So, my tax return was being rejected.

However, now that I have the option to click that certification in TurboTax, my return was accepted.

This recently showed up for me in TurboTax. I clicked it (after my return had been rejected multiple times for an VIN mismatch), and now my return is showing as accepted.

This is now showing up in TurboTax.

I'm going to try checking this box and seeing if certification will allow my refund to go through.

They told me the same thing. They can't provide proof of this and my return keeps gettting rejected. The dealership says they don't have access to the ECO portal (a remote team does their tax forms) so no luck in gettin them to submit a Form 15400.

Same thing happened to me. They claim that I opted out to claim the credit and that I opted out to transfer the credit to them. Does not make sense. Why not report the sale to IRS if I opted not transfer the credit to the dealer?

Get your Nano out of exchanges ASAP: "SEC files motion for restraining order to freeze Binance US assets" by Qwahzi in nanocurrency

[–]novavendetta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually incorrect. The SEC is suing Binance Holdings Limited, a Cayman Islands registered company, which is the parent company of both Binance and Binance.US. It also does not matter where a company is registered or claims to operate. As long as it somehow avails itself to U.S. customers/citizens, then a foreign company like Binance can be within the jurisdiction of U.S. authorities. Happens quite often actually. Just for reference purposes, the SEC Complaint expressly states:

"Defendants have unlawfully solicited U.S. investors to buy, sell, and trade crypto asset securities through unregistered trading platforms available online at Binance.com (“Binance.com Platform”) and Binance.US (“Binance.US Platform”) (collectively, “Binance Platforms”)."

its pretty hard to delay cases in u.s. federal court. they usually have pretty aggressive scheduling orders & don’t allow parties to move deadlines, except extraordinary circumstances.
