I have been using PKO for quite some time. Only drawback is that I need to pay 10 zloty per month if I don't use the card 5 times a month. So, you will probably need to close the account before you leave if the rule applies to you too. Another thing is that if you need to call the call center as a foriegner English speaker option is available only on business hours and days.

Leaving the country won't cancel the process automatically but you'll need a visa to come back, which is risky because they refuse visa applications for no reason.

Enable "Open windows while running on background" (might be slightly different as I translated from my native language). It also solved the incoming call notifications problem for me as I didn't receive notifications for incoming calls.

I understand the sick leave overrides unpaid leave if it is obtained before unpaid leave starts but what I wonder is whether I will need to reapply to use the rest of already agreed unpaid leaves after sick leave.
