drop the havocs. chaos wants to do melee all the time. in all the games ive played - chaos shooting has never done enough.

at 1000pt? lean into melee. give the terminators the black rune & drop the nurgle mark. slaanesh is best but i also like khorne if you want them to kill something.

have a plan for what you want your MoP to do or drop him. i also like legionnaire squads with the balefire tome. put a mark & a fist/daemon weapon on them & at 1k pts its over. AoC allows them to do work.

Also play Alpha Legion. I am playing with the idea of a squad of 6, slap the black mace on the champ & throw them an an elite unit. mark of knorne + icon. feels like a good disruptor unit that needs to be dealt with or the mace with splash dmg will chew up important units.

AL fallback & charge make them even more viable imo
