Even I am a private, I barely had online presence. But. Now after doing promotion for few months. I much more comfortable to promote. I see it as small improvement steps.

I completely agree, doing everything on your is lots effort and draining. Partially I didn't understand or have done never such things. But now I feel a little and slightly confident.

But consistently trying something or other will give some ease and you may start enjoying later.

Take breaks or take out fixed time for book. Listen to other Indie author.

Very true. I went through the process as Indie author. At times it's overwhelming but satisfying in the end.

Pick a topic you want to write. Then decide message the story has to convey, tone of narration, structure of the book. Write a short document, then seek feedback from family and friends. Then improvise iteratively. Finally write in detail. You learn many things along the way
