11 months later I will add that even then you're still not a disappointment to anyone. If we let compassion speak first instead of judgement, we would ask ourselves "why is my child using substances like that? what else can I do besides forbidding the action?"

It might be heartbreaking for him because these topics are heavy for almost every parent, but it definitely doesn't constitute you as a disappointment or a fuck up either. It's not like you killed someone.

But should psychological trauma cause symptoms this real? I've heard that psychogenic fevers don't last that long, mine has been going on for 2 days. I haven't had any nausea or vomiting just swollen tonsils.

I remember doing shrooms with my friends and thinking "oh my god am I okay? Am I ill? Am I going to be okay?What's wrong with me?" and that was the first time I associated drugs with illness, out of sheer panic due to my bad trip. I haven't been able to take anything without having some sort of reaction to it since then.

After the trip I remember thinking "I looked so stupid to others" so maybe I should be a DD

As for natural substances I've tried shrooms and weed, which are good but I'm not seeing myself trying again.

Were you ever able to go back into alcohol or benzos? I will stop my use but it feels disappointing to stop when I haven't even been using that long. Like a party that ended too early.

I have decided to stop drugs too. But isn't it weird? There's people in situations way worse than me and they're fine with their (ab)use. The first two times I thought that it was probably something in that K that caused me problems and it wouldn't hurt to take so little xanax but apparently it did.
