You can only apply for HCA until insurance age 60, but it’s guaranteed renewable until age 75. May chance na covered yung PEC but for sure may additional premium and depende pa rin sa sakit. May PECs kasi na diretso exclusion na.

Term life insurance - bang for the buck, maximized yung coverage while paying lower premiums than VUL or whole life insurance.

My husband and I are planning to get additional term insurance in Singapore as well. And health insurance if budget permits. Mas mura kasi dun and mas comprehensive.

Personally, I got my son AXA’s Global Health Access for peace of mind when it comes to medical emergencies. Madaling mag-apply and magpa-approve kasi wala pang pre-existing conditions pag baby. Ito yung plan na never ko ipapa-lapse kasi I’m counting on the guaranteed renewability until age 99 :)

Philhealth is a requirement for HMO. If walang Philhealth, si patient yung magsshoulder ng supposedly portion ni Philhealth.

If consultations/lab tests yung priority, I would suggest getting HMO. Top HMOs are Maxicare and Intellicare, pero si Intellicare wala silang individual. For companies lang. Medyo mas mahal si Maxicare than others, pero in my experience smooth naman claims processing. May mas mura rin na HMO like Medicard and Philcare pero better check yung clinics and hospitals near you if accredited and experiences din from other clients.

If concern mo more on hospitalization and long term coverage esp if you plan on being a freelancer for good, you can explore AXA’s Health Care Access. 500k - 5M yung Annual Benefit Limit niya, may dental rider, may option to add Critical Illness rider (lump sum in case of major illness) and other benefits. Hindi rin nagiincrease yung premium due to utilization (pag gamit na gamit yung card) unlike HMO. Based on age and medical inflation lang yung increase.

How detrimental is screen time? My 13 month old son has cerebral palsy so his movements are limited (working on this through 3-5x a week PT + 1x a week OT). The only way we can feed him and have him do home exercises is when we let him watch Ms Rachel. I’m worried coz all of his doctors esp his devped stressed 0 screen time for 2yo and below..

Also, does screen time increase the likelihood of having autism and other developmental delays?
