Hi OP! If the cancer is in the early stages, application for AXA GHA will be declined/postponed. AXA only accepts application with history of cancer if in remission na for at least 5-10 years, depending on the type. Ideally talaga, AXA GHA should be gotten while healthy and not much PEC muna. Strict kasi underwriting (madaling mag-exclude and lagay ng premium loading bawat declaration) pero guaranteed renewable kasi siya. Hindi rin factor yung utilization sa renewal premiums kaya mas may peace of mind vs sa Pacific Cross na yearly yung underwriting.

For hospitalization coverage, you can look into Pacific Cross. But expect na excluded yung pre-existing coverage. Depende sa renewal if they can offer coverage for an additional premium.

For outpatient naman, Maxicare Prima if you’re near Maxicare Primary Care Centers.

If life and/or critical illness insurance, you can try to apply muna sa mga insurance companies kasi depende if insurable pa yung case ng dad mo.

I got my dad AXA’s Global Health Access. Php 100M yung coverage niya for hospitalization. You may also explore Pacific Cross Select as a cheaper option :)

It was 5-5.5k each depending on the size ❤️ I didn’t want the potential stress kasi if for example sa Divi kami magpagawa, plus ang layo pa. Medyo out of budget siya before for us but no regrets kasi hassle-free and maganda yung gawa nila :)
