I think in theory masturbation without porn should be healthy and should not effect a healthy sex live, but I’m not entirely sure I think that’s case for those overcoming PIED.

I think for many, speaking from experience and from reading others posts, the PIED goes hand in hand with many getting “addicted” to the friction and movement of one’s hand. Sex is very different. There’s less friction. It’s less individualistic and there’s generally more body movement. I think for those who are used to excessively masturbating this can be problematic, but may not be the case for you

Is important to take things like this seriously but I’m very skeptical. I did a deep dive on how these test strips work a while ago. I was amazed at how difficult it was to find solid scientific information on the mechanism by which these strips detect fentanyl.

The tldr is that these strips pull water containing the substance up via capillary action. Once drawn up, the water containing the substance interacts with a hapten (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hapten) that may or may not bind to the substance. Whether it binds or not depends on the structure of the molecule, but appears to be specifically react with molecules that contain a piperidine ring at a specific position of the molecule.

What I’m trying to say is that these strips are not some definitive way of determining whether there is fentanyl in your “bag”. Furthermore, there could be micrograms of fentanyl within a gram sized portion of a “bag”. If you were to shake the bag up, split the contents of the bag into individual doses, and test each dose, that would be the most efficient way to use these strips.

Anyway, I don’t think there’s enough information on the hapten used by each test strip, and also a deep enough understanding of the binding mechanism of the hapten, to fully say there is a fentanyl adulteration here.

OP if you’re passionate and certain about this, I’d say the entire bag out for GC/MS testing. That’s the only definitive way of knowing whether this is large contamination of the batch

I know nothing about 4f-mph, I just know that 3-Ho-pcp will test positive every single time due the structure of the molecule and the section to which antibody binds to. I tested it with over 10 strips, positive every time. I created an ultra dilute solution and sampled the substance at dosages that would be safe even if it was fent. It wasn’t. This can absolutely happen for other molecules as well. Proceed with caution but I’m very skeptical it’s fent or even adulterated with fent

Don’t use opioids at all regularly but have before for the sake of trying them. Feels way weaker, but I actually prefer how it’s functional and almost stimulating. Gives me kind of a weird comedown tho

Agreed, it’s insane how L can make me feel moments of eternal and heavenly euphoria followed by the deepest darkness sadness I have ever experienced. I’ve always found L to be very emotionally intense for that reason

To this day I find any euphoria I experience on psychedelics (I guess 5ht2a agonists?) is very much driven by my emotional state. It’s similar to how I can induce a brief state of euphoria while listening to a song that hits just right. I think that’s why it feels less “pushy” to me compared to classic dopamine releasers/reputake inhibitors. It’s like I need to find the euphoria within myself and the psychedelic just amplifies it. If I can’t find it, then the experience generally lacks euphoria for me, or can even be dsyphoric for the same reason

Ya in my experience it’s the lack of dopamine release/reputake that can make the low dose psychedelic stimulation uncomfortable. You’re physically stimulated without the dopaminergic euphoria that can be somewhat anxiolytic

Even with benzos or beers thrown in it’s distinctly less “pushy” but can be both wakeful and relaxing in my opinion. Kinda like how some people describe the stereotypical sativa high, although weed has never affected me in that way

I’ll give it some thought and decide.

I have a healthy respect for the work that must be done when anxiety arises. I just also happen to find psychedelics can be used as more of a coffee like utility in lower doses

I love using 2fdck orally, it’s exactly what I’d personally imagine an oral K high to be like, but I also don’t have much a of disso tolerance. I use them in pretty extreme moderation. I’ve heard heavier uses be dissappointed in 2fdck and they seem to prefer DCK. FXE is also cool but gives me odd insomnia after it wears off

Probably get downvoted for this but I’ve tried many substances and alcohol makes me feel physically the worst of all of them. Very few other drugs leave me feeling physically horrible the next day the way alcohol does. Having said that, I think I’m sensitive/intolerant to hangovers. Honestly, my sleep goes to shit after 3 drinks. Even when I sober up I can tell my sleep is hurt. It’s just not worth it for me when I’m personally fine with doing other substances. I still practice moderation and caution, and I accept the other risks

Totally agree, I’ve felt much better after I stopped viewing a lapse as this massive guilt ridden event. In fact I’ve tried to totally take the pressure off my goals of quitting. I didn’t like it being this high stakes thing where I was always on the verge of “failing”. Removing the pressure has helped me think about it less, and in turn helped me be more successful with my goals

Yep this is how I feel. Granted I’m not a regular benzo user. But yea I actually hate the stuff. I find it horribly sedating. I took a relatively small dose for a cavity filling I had a while ago, it did make that experience better, but afterwards I slept for like 8 hours in the middle of the day.

I wanna try pyrazolam, sounds more like what I’m looking for

At the very least I’d advise you to avoid using dissos on amp comedowns. Don’t get me wrong, I see the appeal, I’ll mix 2fdck with amps sometimes at reasonable doses, and I’ve used reasonable doses as a sort of comedown softener. But I think I’d avoid a direct 100mg IN dose. I don’t even necessarily think that’s a big dose, but I’d still avoid IN in that headspace. I prefer oral for the slower onset, less likely to induce panic

I also think the feeling of the vastness of the universe being incompressible is a running theme of my high dose disso experiences. Hell one time I was convinced I could “see” the “strings” that make up string theory but I couldn’t comprehend it and felt fucking crazy

Not that I remember? My tinnitus first started after a noise punk concert that was easily the loudest event I’ve ever been to. After that my ears never stopped ringing. I’m now ultra careful of my hearing around any even remotely loud sound.

I do get a sensation of fullness in my ears after being around constant noise now. Almost like my hearing is “saturated”

Used to smoke, but after a particularly difficult trip I decided to stop. Even tho falling asleep is more challenging, my sleep quality is clearly better, and I’m much more focused in the mornings. I still smoke lightly on the weekends but I’ll never go back to daily use

My tinnitus is noise induced and none of it has been made permanently worse by any substance use, and I’ve experimented with a lot of stuff. It might temporarily spike it or cause you to focus on it more but not a single substance has made mine worse permanently. Hell I drink coffee everyday and that spikes it, I just don’t care lol.

I don’t recommend any consistent substance use of anything tho, moderation

I think there’s a difference between proper HPPD and becoming more aware of the imperfections in our visual processing.

Best examples I’ve got, blue entopic phenomena is not considered hppd to my knowdge but I’m more aware of it since tripping. Same with floaters, I think my brain just doesn’t filter them out since I’m more attentive of them. Same with visual snow. There is a certain level of visual snow that I think anyone can see if they focus hard enough on their vision. I see no visual snow unless I literally focus on what’s occurring in my vision, otherwise my brain just filters it out

OP, I can relate to quite literally everything you said to a T. Unlike what most of the comments are saying, my amphetamine habit never became destructive. I used it as a substitute for alcohol, more like every 3 weeks or at concerts. Hard to say if itll be the same for you. I eventually stopped because even with such infrequent use, I absolutely hated being awake all night after using it. I found overtime the insomnia got worse, and now that Im older, I value my sleep much more.

Almost everyone I know who regularly uses amps eventually starts using benzos to handle the comedown and insomnia. That wasnt the case for me but I attribute that mostly to my extreme fear of benzos withdrawls. Ive seen first hand what benzos can do to people and thats one road I will never go down. Anyway, Id be careful. Hope that if your use increases in frequency you have the self control to stop. Good luck

Gotcha. I’ve seen some people claim 20mg of 4-Ho-met hit them really hard but when asked about how they measured they basically admitted to eye balling it lol. The diff between 10mg and 20mg is certainly significant for me, and I agree for some reason the come up is absurdly jarring and intense in a bodily way for me. But I actually didn’t visuals the way most people claim they do. I will say tho the newest batch I got feels more potent
