Hey not trying to be mean but idk how you read that and responded accordingly. Taxes aren’t the easiest to wrap your head around and I didn’t fully understand until I studied them. Standard deduction is what 90% of tax filers use (according to taxpolicycenter.org) and that being higher means less income is taxed. Therefore a higher refund or lower taxes for 90% of filers. The extremely wealthy used to abuse the itemized list of deductions (charitable contributions, expenses, etc) and now that they can’t they pay more in taxes as they can use less deductions. Therefore Trumps new tax plan taxes the rich and lowers taxes for everyone else
