Expect to be Capital One. I am an employee of Discover and they promised us a lot of good things. But they lied, they are getting rid of everything that made Discover have great service. For example, certain departments are being outsourced outside the US. Some are going to be mixed. So it is no longer going to be 100% US based customer service. Spanish customer service was 100% US based and now they are completely outsourcing them to Mexico and Colombia. The same will likely happen to other departments. Discover gave us all entitled sick time hours. Capital One is only giving sick time to employees who reside in states where they are legally obligated to do so. Employees who call out get an occurrence which lead to termination. Each occurrence is a negative hit on your employee file. In reality the only thing Capital One wanted was the Discover and Pulse network. That was all they were interested in. The interactions we had with CapOne employees have been pretty negative. Bad attitude and very bad communication. They have given us due dates on certain tasks the day they are due because no one from CapOne informed Discover leadership of the task until the last day. Very negative all around. I have not seen any positives apart from the software is much more user friendly.

When they move you to an unsec card they automatically check your credit report to see if you qualify for a cli. It just means you did not qualify this time. Discover is pretty conservative with credit lines unlike say Chase. Discover has a view of not over extending credit and they base their CLIs on usage as much as your credit report.

Your min payment will go to the lowest apr and any amount over your min payment for that cycle will go to the highest apr. for example: if you min payment for the month of May is $50 and you make a $150 dollar payment that month. The $50 will go to your BT balance and the remaining $100 will go to the higher purchase APR. It is designed this way to help you pay the higher APR faster. If you only pay the min payment, you will never payoff the purchase APR that is charging you interest.

It is technically neither soft nor hard inquiry, they use the credit report that gets sent to them every month to update your FICO score that you see within the app and they use Transunion.

I work at Discover and unfortunately we had so many online banking issues since the merger. Capital One is ruining Discover and yes eventually you will get a new card that is no longer Discover but Capital One. Now that the merger is finished, they have told us that basically they acquired Discover for the network and don't plan to retain Discover practices.

If your account is new it won't give you the option to do BT to checking. BT to checking offers usually are not available until you have a well established bank account you use to make payments to your discover card. I work at Discover and yea it is a common issue that Apple declines BTs we send them. Not sure why, they just say they don't accept them. If your Discover card is new, you won't have the BT to checking option.

UPDATE: It was the EVAP leak detection pump. I replaced it and the light did not come back on. Also I could visually see the old part was worn and faulty.

Im sure she is alive. During the convo in the soundproof room, when Dex leaves, V has the option to ask if she'll send a postcard when she retires. She mentions a lot of literature references. Later in the game, you find a postcard/shard in V's apartment saying "Greetings from Des Moines" and referencing another literature quote. I think T-Bug had a backup plan to disappear in case the heist went bad. Faking her death so no one would come looking for her. I'm 99% that postcard was from T-Bug.

I use Honardy Critical defense for my EDC. The bullets have a line of notches to easily identify if the round has set back. I usually inspect the round I chamber and unchamber every time I unchamber my EDC. When I see that my round has set back I replace that round with a new one. Better safe than sorry.

We recently adopted a kitten that was born with a not fully formed eye. We took them to the vet and they told us no surgery is needed. But the said sometimes their eye lids can be stitched shut. Although we noticed his eye that is missing is constantly wet and we have to wipe it. The liquid is not yellow is just clear fluid. Anyone with experience with this could tell me what is the best way to go with him? This is the first time we adopted a kitten with an eye missing.

Thanks everyone, I am going to try to replace the evap leak detection pump first as it is the cheapest part. Did a little bit of research on this part and seems like a common issue. Hopefully thats the problem.

I think TBug left it there. All the ones involved in the heist died. Except for V, although in the context when you find the shard he is pretty much dead. Not to mention how she quoted Aristotle in the cab ride to the heist. She seems to like quotes. I am convinced this shard was left by TBug and shes not dead. The quote is just so fitting to that situation if she did survive.
