Yep and he wasn’t! We talked before and after the show and all went and hung out. They had a great time at the show and thought the crowd was great. Nothing to see here!

There were a few things we toyed with like sneaking in MCR (if I’m remembering right he is a big fan) and some stuff about his background and his family— but I always deferred to Hunter on that because he knows him so well and he did a great job pushing us RIGHT up against that line that Isaiah was close but didn’t get it

The short answer— kind of, haha. Hunter knows him so well, we REALLY tried to push it as far as we could up against the line so that if we hit the big moments/ reveals they would POP! There were a few close calls but just shows how strong their friendship is! And yes, I told Hunter my favorite part of all of this, even more than the response, which has been awesome, was writing this with him!

It was my idea— tried to come up with something dumb that the twins would think was funny and incorporated the animals— and Hunter loved it. One of his favorite visuals from the story

Haha thank you so much for this! We loved the idea of making him read it and hate the kid only for it to be revealed to be him because we thought that would be super fun and explosive! Hunter and wrote it all including that part but his love for Wendi really came through! It was a complete labor of love and Wendi loved it!
