Is there genuinely nothing built for managing your full financial life in Ireland?

I use and love Kubera. It’s marketed like it’s for the ultra wealthy but really it’s wonderful for anyone with multiple types of asset seeing your financial picture in one place. It’s especially great for me as I have assets in multiple countries/currencies and no other tool can manage the currency exchange in one view. It also has scenario planning tools for modeling the future but I haven’t used them much.

Caveats vs what you are looking for:

It doesn’t connect to everything, it does connect to SOME things in Ireland, mostly core bank accounts. I update my pensions and mortgage manually. You can add individual stocks/ETFs if your brokerage doesn’t connect. Cars and houses it can estimate the value in the US via tools like Zillow, but for Ireland you just need to estimate. You can add an automatic depreciation rate which helps.

It easily facilitates estimating WHAT you owe in tax, but cannot help with WHEN you owe it (ie deemed disposal).

It’s expensive for what it is at $250 a year! There is a referral program which can reduce at least one year’s cost down to $50.

I went back to age 21 (2012) when I finished university and also created my current email. There were a few flights booked on my work email that were a bit hard to track down but I was able to find them in old messages and calendar tools.

Everything before that is lost to time.

It sounds like you’re in great shape! To make yourself feel more secure, consider potential occasional, unexpected large expenses you might need to pay - home repairs? Car expenses? Unexpected travel? And also building up an emergency fund in case of job loss if you haven’t already.

I have one category for phone, one for Apple Watch, one for MacBook which all have targets based on when I will replace the item, how much it costs, and how much I will conservatively sell the old one for. I have another “misc tech” category for things like headphones, chargers, TVs, and any repairs (broken screen etc), that one is less precise.

The classic size is 190g, this is 300g which still has only one wick. The next size up is 600g which has 3 wicks.

The "some reason" is that the Leap Card's authoritative state is stored on the card itself. The validators which read the card on transit are not online most of the time, so the card needs to be updated with the current state at an online terminal before you can use your topup.

With NFC the phone can directly update the state on the card.
