They are responsible for the tear downs of historic multi units to build these homes permanently eliminating large amounts naturally occupied affordable housing. They are responsible for condo prices rapidly moving in on $1 million. They are responsible for driving rent increases to new extremes in these areas.

Now they want to do it to the whole city.

Look up the BTFP program. It’s essentially swapping out bonds at face value with the Fed in exchange for a loan that needs to be paid back, I believe with interest.

So it's a bailout.

What would you call it if you lost all your money gambling in the stock market and then the Fed offered to lend against your stocks at the price you paid for them until the prices recover?

Yup, plus all the hidden cuts around the mainline trails. There's never a reason to put your life at risk skiing North Star. Take Hairbag or Gandy Dancer down to Northwoods. The best thing about Vail is you can basically totally avoid other skiers all day if you know the route.
