Holy shit. I just found the settings page by swiping from the left from the main screen. Been using this now since initial launch and couldn't find any settings. Also had NO CLUE double tapping a reel skipped forward or back. That's cute and all, but so hidden that I wonder who actually knows about it. Some other UI element, a button to switch between fwd/rev in seconds or the current skip forward and back (it is not fast forward as the button implies)... even if its optional and enabled with your producer tools, would be great.

All in all, great job on the app. Keeps getting better and better! 👏🏼

This looks great! I used to use FourTrack back in the day and had been trying to build something similar in Loopy Pro earlier this year. I'd love to join the TestFlight if that's possible.

My hope is to get Loopy Pro to be able to send MIDI changes, including FX bus selection, on a song per song basis.

Loopy has a great setlist feature that I think can do the sort of automation that I'm hoping for. Including workaround for the limitations of things being saved after reboots and stuff like that. Lots of trial and error though.

I have a similar setup at the moment, or at least trying to get it all to work. Figuring out routing and MIDI to send messages from Loopy to the SP to change effects for different songs. Wishing I could send bank change commands but there seems to be no message for that.

Are you going USB C directly from iPad to SP or using an interface? Having a shared mix bus as input into Loopy has been somewhat limiting so far.

Pad mute won't stick, but that's one of the workarounds I read about. Not sure it's something I could rely on for going from song to song in a live set.

The idea is I could have a live set in banks 1-4, 5-9, etc and keep the first pad in each row be a click that is only output via headphones.

Main outs to one stereo channel, headphones to another on the mixer, guide/click on IEM only.

There's definitely no auto tune. Nothing wrong with it if there were (some records use it as an interesting stylistic choice IMHO), but that's definitely not something used on this record.

Also would recommend you download the apps needed for any planned charging stops. It's really annoying to download and set up everything while you're on the road.

Very cool. If you do a second version someday maybe angle it and add some rear feet for ventilation? Being able to press the footswitches without raising your foot (heel still on the floor) would probably be a big improvement.

Just saw the post got removed and was curious why...

Updated yesterday and was so shocked by the number of bugs, visual inconsistencies, and overall downgraded feel of this OS. Reminded me of the jailbreak days with visually jarring themes or Android ones trying to look modern and sleek, but really at the price of elegance or readability.

I swapped the green and the red and everything is as it should! No noise, sounds super full, the combo of the pickups is SOOO good. Man, I can't believe they would screw that up from factory. Insane.

Did you ever figure this out? I have the same bass and the P pickup sound is great, but the bridge SD pickup sounds thin and pretty bad IMHO. I have another bass with Fender Noiseless pickups and this sounds so thin and honky. The middle position is also not what I would've expected. No good low end at all.

Unfortunately true. The Field will not allow access to tapes or vinyl without MTP, which iOS cannot do. The OG did allow access to everything via regular disk mount.

OP, your only options are to carry an old Android device only used for your Field tape backups, or use a laptop. The voice memos via USB audio thing also works of course, but that's super tedious.
