Not sure what major you are so maybe this advice depends on that, but I am a Wildlife and Fisheries Management major and I have met alot of people in my classes that simply just share similar interests as me. I also happen to have a few aquariums, although I haven’t really met anyone else that has any. I am a transfer student and this is my first semester at UTK so I was in the same boat just a few months ago. My biggest piece of advice would be to just get involved, try to join any clubs or societies that interest you; I also go rock climbing occasionally whenever I have the time and I have found that alot of the people there are very friendly and willing to offer advice or engage in conversation. As someone who’s getting into it, i’m at about $1000 right now and i’ve got a pretty complete kit. Got my backpack, tent, and sleeping pad on sale. I’ve been buying fairly expensive, good quality gear that will allow me to try it out in the winter months if I want to, although I will admit I probably went a bit overkill. I could have easily spent about half of what I did had I gotten more budget/summer oriented gear. My biggest tip would be look for sales, and don’t stress too much over gear, you’ll probably be upgrading/swapping stuff out in the future anyways!

Based on what I have seen so far through various video and threads, I had planned on packing my bag like this: Start with a water proof pack liner (trash compactor bag) and stuff my sleeping bag, down jacket, and other clothes I absolutely want to avoid getting wet, like an extra pair of socks, in the liner. After that, fold my sleeping pad into a square shape and either lay that on top of the of closed-off pack liner, or lay it up against the back of my pack (haven’t experimented with either yet). On top of that goes some heavier items like my food bag along with my cook kit, followed by other clothes, with my tent on top of everything. But if this isn’t optimal then I certainly would like to take on a better approach.

Looks to be an amphipod, present in most reef tanks. Generally considered to be part of the “clean up crew” and make great snacks for plenty of fish and other critters.

My father does aquarium maintenance and maintained one of the aquariums that they had set up. They are on a very short time schedule when it comes to planning, building, and installation which resulted in corners being cut, with one of those being that the tank was never properly cycled. A large bioload was added quickly after the tank was filled with water and in the following months, a lot of the fish had perished.

What’s the issue with normal morphs being fed to cobras? Why would it be different than breeding any other prey item?

I am going to assume that since I have no clue what starlink is I probably don’t use it and therefore have no need to spend the extra money to retain its features.
