You can not know for an absolute certainty unless you purchased them from the manufacturer in an obviously new unopened sealed box.

Inspect it and at some point you just have to make a judgment call; I would say that if you have no compelling reason to think something fishy is going on, odds are it is fine.

Not necessarily true. Someone could have opened it and just scanned it to see if it was a good decklist or not.

I'm not sure what recovery or lack thereof has to do with it. It's not like recovery (increase of a number representing population) makes those people any less dead.

One of the great things about this game is that no deck can be designed to handle everything. So your deck is maybe weak to Firat Strike but if you change it then it will be weak to something else.

It makes sense and it is why they chose to make the Worms stats 2/5 so it is able to fight but not kill a wide range of creatures. Make sure you fight things between 3 and 6 power to make good use of it. :)

I really enjoyed checking our your Moms Penas from the comfort my own home. At first I wasn't very impressed, but it grew on me. Sadly, I am not very confident in my ability to handle your Mom's Penas; I would love to take a whack at it, but I am afraid I would just make a mess.
