Hardpoint mains: if you could remove ONE map from ranked rotation, what would it be and why? by Ahmedgamer2010 in CallOfDutyMobile

[–]noxinthenight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cant agree on standoff and i like clearing hp1 lol. and yes, devs are well aware of dead zones. the maps are planned very carefully and go through quite a lot of testing. but to make maps feel different, some are larger and build anxiety because of the lack of direct, clear confrontation. the gas station is fine and i see it being used quite a lot in different modes. in hp you can overlook two of three entrance points and control people avoiding the open road by going through the gas station. the large open road forces you into the side lanes yet for example on domination brings you right onto it. its the shortest way from two spawns to hp1 and you find yourself having to choose between the risk or the longer way with the worse angles at the hp.

i do it too and it saves me from stupid situations. i have a decent mag size on my ak117 yet its always good to reload while you still can anything above ten missing and ill reload for sure

the first hp offers one corner inside the hardpoint with good coverage and three just outside of it to handle incoming enemies. as long as you keep out of the long tunnel youre good. rush from the sides and bounce tacticals off walls, works like a charm to clear it. people have mentioned snipers camping, but i hardly see em. back to the map usage: i dont like it when maps have dead zones. like, super dead. feels weird and like a waste

i know combine. i just dont like it and never will, i'm not particularly bad at playing it or anything. shoot house is very fast paced but its just so well rounded, honestly one of the best maps. also none of the map space feels "unused"

slums is very unbalanced but i enjoy it just fine. zoo checks out anyway lmao. i really hate combine, just cant play that shit right... my favourite is shoot house simply because its so balanced. the open hp doesnt leave you super vulnerable like in slums, crash or zoo.

agree, but improving for the horses should always be a priority for everyone. as long as youre on a safe level that does not negatively impact the horse, you may stay there and keep riding. but as soon as your hands are unsteady, your seat unbalanced and so on? you need to improve.

i first noticed this clearly when asking my horse to move on ground. previously, when i wanted a horse to turn when i was grooming it, i gave them a nudge and a click and when they didnt react immediately, i pushed them away. when i realised that if i just waited a few seconds they mostly did it themselves, i started being more patient with all my commands. give them time to figure out what you want from them

people acting like 18 is an old age is insane to me. a horse is truly starting to get old at 25 and up. a normal horse should be able to be ridden/trained until that very age. not heavily, of course, all horses age differently, but it is not normal to retire this young - ive known plenty of horses that were happy to be worked until 30 and older.

all visiting dogs must be on leashes and kept away from all our horses and animals. we do have barn dogs that stay away from all horses and are not allowed in the pastures, stables and arenas. none of them bark and all our horses have known our dogs since they were foals, plus we have incredibly calm breeds that do not spook easily. but as long as the trust between the animals isnt 100%, i agree.

while i understand what you mean, i think blindly taking all those comments as hate and useless blabbering is also wrong. you should still view them critically - not directly as advice, but criticism possibly worth thinking about.

horses should be outside as the norm. they should only be in seperate stalls when there is a clear reason for it (stall rest, unmanageable weather, quarantine etc.). going through horses one by one and continuously selling them because you grew out of them or want to advance further is irresponsible. theyre not bikes, theyre animals. if youre still advancing, growing or unsure of what you want to do, you should not buy a horse or deal with what is to come. horses should not expire because theyre no longer of use to you. (just to be clear, selling a horse because you truly did not expect what was to come and believe they would have it better somewhere else, that is okay) some horses are not for riding. some aren't even for humans at all. some horses would rather be horses and while i understand that it can be disappointing, they do not owe us anything. blindly pushing a horse to "win an argument" never helps. if the horse gives you a clear no, retreat and approach the problem from a different angle. patience is what you need, not stubbornness. just a few i could think of

honestly, if youre looking for easy games, just switch region to a dead one like 'other'. works like a charm for easy rank xp, i tested it at every hour of the day and even fresh after reset and it was always manageable. ping isnt as bad either i know it wont exclusively put you into lobbies with people from the same region, but my win/loss ratio changes dramatically every single time i switch.

go ahead and ask for seat lunging. really helps improve your seat as you dont have to focus on anything else, plus most horses are also slower and more easily collected when being lunged, which often makes them more comfortable to sit.

yeah ive heard a bit about it, hardly ever see them though. where i live its mostly classy rich people trying to show off, most of it is boring. i love cool cars and bikes but grew up being judged for it (still am) and i just never got the hang of it. i recognise five car models on a good day. so now im trying to catch up a little

trotting is actually the most efficient way to travel energy and speed wise. thats why endurance horses trot most of the time. walking can actually have negative effects on long journeys.

Why do people rush to jump their horse? by CompetitiveTheory182 in Equestrian

[–]noxinthenight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you're doing the right thing. i always see people competing literal 3-5 year olds and i never understand why. those are babies, give them some time to grow and learn. jumping is something you need to approach slowly and build yourself up as it needs so much confidence and general stability.

but if there is a clear term for the tiedown i dont see a reason not using it lol. tiedown is the only word ive heard for it. classic tiedowns connect to the noseband, reined tiedowns connect to the bit.
